| I thought it was about time he got some recognition for what he's doing right now. In my opinion he's the best pitcher in the league right now. I keep waiting for him to come down to earth but it's not happening. | |

| You'd have to go back to Ron Guidry to see domination at this level. | |

| Ron Guidry went 25-3 with a 1.74 ERA in 1978. | |

| pitchers are killing it this year. Looks like less and less hitters are taking roids. | |

| Eras always flop, before roids there were pitching eras and hitting eras. All about adjustments.
AND ROIDS. | |

| I think it is pretty safe to say though that the cleaner hitters are getting, the better the pitching will look. | |

| Pitchers were juiced up too though, and roids heal injuries as much as enhance performance. Two way street don't you think?
You think roids had a disproportionate effect for hitters?
101 MPH fastballs are half ass impossible to hit I don't care what drugs you taken fool.

| Yes, I think batters had more of an advantage on roids. Wouldn't you say the numbers support that? I mean Randy Johnson and Nolan Ryan were throwing 100mph heaters with no roids. I understand both sides will probably benefit equally from healing from injuries but I think more muscle/power give more of an advantage to your hitting then it does throwing. | |

| You a rockies fan LA?
Wouldn't increased muscle mean a better fastball? Also, injuries in baseball effect pitchers much more than other positions save probably catcher.

| I agree wolf. Roids were just as important for pitching. | |

| It's very solid, I'm gonna PM you on something though, not a trade.
You and Timbo have a very good chance at winning this league
