announcer is ripping the the call. Calling it bogus over and over.

They called it offsides even though there should have been a foul on Slovenia

that is what they are saying on the radio.

Im still perplexed as to what the call was because they were bringing up the stats at the end of the game and it said Slovenia had 3 offsides and the US had 0.

i understand it was a bullshit call but either fucking way it stands, the us came out sloppy in the first half thinking they already won it.

i couldnt even watch the fuckin second half, stupid storm took out our power

It was a total blown call that cost the US....no other way to look at it. The US still played well enough to earn the win...but the refs took it away.

I dont even like soccer, and I got fired up after that call. I'd like to crack that ref upside the head! lol

Great comeback but I'm concerned about advancing now, if England scores a late goal here we're in real trouble. Slovenia should not tie the US 2-2.

This Cup has become more and more unpredictable.

And yes Ali, France misses Zidane, he's one of the best players ever and was their clear leader.

With England's tie a US win next game puts them in great shape.

It's very good, we need to beat Algeria, I think England is going to beat Slovenia, that would make it all made close. Hilarious if Slovenia and the US advanced leaving England out.

Alg- 1

If US beats Algeria then they would have 5 and Algeria would end with 1. So let's assume England wins, that would give England 5 and Slovinia 4. Putting the US and England in.
If England ties Slovinia then England ends with 3 and Slovina 5. So if the US wins they still have 5 and would get in.
So if Slovinia beats England then England ends with 2 and Slovina 7. If we win we are still in.

So looks like win in we are in. Tie and things could get interesting.

I'm a little worried Algeria's D will give us trouble and slop up the game to a 0-0 tie.

That would give up 3 points with a goal dif or zero. So Slovinia would have to beat England for us to advance if we tie. That would give England 2, Algeria 2, US 3 and Slovinia 7.
England win would put England and Slovinia in the next round if we tie.
If we tie and England ties Slovinia what happens? Both end with 3 points and goal dif of zero. Not sure what the next tie breaker would be.
