comparing p4p rankings now to then

first off, i guess these are p4p rankings of the year. some seem a little weird but it still proves my point. look at the caliber of fighters during these years then look at the fighters we have now. for example, lets look at 2001:mosley, hopkins, jones, barrera, tito, mayweather, de la hoya, lopez, tyzsu, morales. thats a great group of fighters. i remember the day that i used to be able to do p4p rankings and make a good list of fighters. now i feel like its so difficult to make a list because it seems like i want to put these types of fighters on my list.

look at the people that we voted on this board for p4p right now
1. Floyd Maywaether Jr
2. Manny Pacquiao
3. Chad Dawson
4. Juan Manuel Marquez
5. Paul Williams
6. Sergio Martinez
7. Andre Ward
8. Nonito Donaire
9. Wladimir Klitschko
10. Shane Mosley

these lists arent even close. pretty much the first 2 people are great fighters but other than that, there isnt anybody special. marquez and mosley were great but now they are old. its just kind of depressing looking at our fighters we have now compared to the past.
