| He's thinking of doing some professional boxing. I wish he wouldn't.
Does Freddy still teach how to do flying knees when you have your opponents on the ropes?

| Is this the new fad? AA, Hardy, and Ortiz also train with Roach. | |

| AA looked crisp as ever in his Fedor fight. Freddie can't train chin. Maybe this is good for these fighters. | |

| This is awesome. We all saw how good AA looked standing. You can't blame roach for 1 hit KOs.
Tito has never had bad stand up, but it was never good either. This could be the edge Tito needs to beat some big name guys.
As for Mousasi, he's the next in line to be king of MMA. His stand up is already good enough to compete in K-1 so working with Roach is only going to make him the most dominate striker at 205. Just and see, Mousasi is going to dominate.

| I think it's great for their hands but you need to concentrate on one sport. Both sports are such that i don't see anyone being a big time champ in MMA or boxing while trying to concentrate on both. | |

Jacare, Manhoef, Kang, and Hunt are all pretty good wins. I think more will be on the bandwagon after he beats Sobral who is a top 15 LHW. He's got all the tools. He's training with Fedor and Roach. He's young, got size, and fights smart. Just wait and see.

| Mousasi is in his career where Machida was a little over 2 years ago IMO. Everyone who's actually whatched his fights knows he's a stud and it's only a matter of time before he starts beating the big time guys. The one thing I see that will probably hold Mousasi back from reaching Machida's level to this point is his lack of focus on just MMA. To be the best in this sport I fully believe you need to be great at all aspects of the game. If he focuses to much on boxing he's going to slip up and lose fights he shouldn't. | |

| Sometimes doing boxing helps hone a fighters hand technique in a positive way, other times it distracts a fighter. Mousasi would probably benefit from boxing I'd think. | |

| I agree. It is going to put his stand up at another level right up there with Anderson's crazy power speed elbows kicks and Machida's in and out karate. Plus if he sticks with Fedor his throws and clinch work will be very good. | |

Mousasi brings nothing new to the table like machida did. He is an expert in nothing like all of our great champions. I will not be sold if he beats 2 guys rejected by the UFC. I did pick Sobral to beat him and using hunt, manhoef, and jacare as a reference for him being a great fighter is crazy. I think he has the talent to be great but calling him the next king of MMA is a reach. He faced nothing but one dimensional fighters so far and this will be his first real test. I hope he turns out as good as you say I remember when everyone was crowning shogun as the next "king" of mma. I am a shogun fan but lets not get ahead of ourselves.
