| I think he is easily the most forgotten LHW. Just look what he did to Overeem & Hendo. I think he could do some damage vs top guys and would love to get him in the UFC ASAP. They already have his big brother in so why not him too? | |

| He's my current 6th ranked LHW in the World, be an amazing addition to the UFC, why wouldn't come over since his bro is already there. | |

Disapointed by what you have seen from him so far?

| He looked good enough against Cane. Had a surprising struggle against Brillz and an unsurprising struggle against Bader. Would call it a mild disappointment but not major. | |

Not exactly "doing some damage" vs top competition like was mentioned in this thread. That was the hopes for lil Nog. It's pretty disappointing so far.

| He didn't run through his last two opponents, but he has not been ran through either. The Brillz fight really is the quantifying factor for me. | |

This Davis fight is big for him. He loses this and you can call it a major disappointment. He wins and he gets another chance vs a top guy.

| True dat. I think that Davis grinds for 15 on him. I feel like Nog might be becoming more of a relic like so many others as this next generation(3rd gen of the sport imo, Nog's being 2nd) of mma emerges. | |

I'm thinking Davis might hurt Nog with some GnP. I picked lil Nog though. Might be wishful thinking. I'd like to see him make a nice run. I'm thinking he might be able to pull off the sub.

| Hurting him with GnP, for sure. But it takes a lot of hurt to stop a Nog. | |

| I thought Nog had a serious run in him after his debut. Turns out Banha just uses his face to block punches until he can't take anymore. His last 2 fights he's looked more on his brother's level than that of a true contender. This is a big fight for him and I don't like his chances | |

His stand up is every bit as good as I thought. He's just never faced the type of takedown artests before and showed to have a weakness. At the time I posted this Sherdog had them ranked Machida, Rampage, Rashad, Forrest, Shogun, & Franklin 1-7. I think Nog can still beat all except for maybe Rasahd and Shogun (their first war was pretty dang close.) Now guys like Bader, Jones, & any 205er with good taekdowns poses a problem.

Hell watching him fight Bonnar might be fun, Bonnar can take an ass whoopin.
