| A boxing journalist once posed a question to ex middleweight champ, Iran Barkly, during his hey days. The question was, "What are you going to do when you leave boxing?" Iran's answer, "Rob your house." Funny stuff. But throughout boxing history, I don't think that most fighters deserve the monolithic personalities given to them by the press. So think of you're most interesting fighters and try to imagine what they'd be if they never discovered boxing. Should get some interesting answers. I'll start you off. (1)Mike Tyson. Prison Immate. (2) Muhammad Ali. D.J. turned politician. (3) Sugar Ray Leonard. Fashion Designer. (4) Klit Brothers. B movie villains. (5) Lennox Lewis. Poet. (6) Tommy Morrison. Failed actor. (7) Evander Holyfield. Bodyguard for famous Evangelists. (8)Floyd Mayweather. Failed rapper. (9) Roberto Duran. Bodyguard and hit man for drug dealers hailing from Panama. (10) David Haye. Fashion model.. and so on. Other opinions welcome. | |

| most of them would be dead or in prison, which is why sometimes they are still better off even punch drunk than they would have been with out boxing.... sorry I hope I didn't take your thread OT | |
