Ward Gatti trilogy - man that was just an epic 3 fights

Izzy vs Raffa 1-3 - I think the 3rd was the best, man these guys went all out

Trinidad vs Vargas - a friekin War, with god knows how many knockdowns and low blows

Barrera vs Hamed - that fight was so fun to watch it was amazing

Pacquiao vs Barrera 1 - man I couldnt believe Barrera was getting blitzed then it became clear Pac was just better

Pacquiao vs Marquez 1 - reminded me alot of Trinidad vs Vargas

James Toney vs Vassili Jirov - man this fight was amazing, 100s of punches a round vs TOneys countering off the ropes

Erik Morales vs Barrera 1 - the best in the trilogy IMO very close fought fight that had tremindous back and forth

add whatever I didnt

Corrales-Freitas is up there for me too. I was a huge Chico fan so I'm a bit biased but these were all great fights

I guess it depends on your "recent memory!"

LOL. The early 1980's just seem like yesterday to a fogy like me.

Want to have some fun? Set aside an hour each and watch Pryor-Arguello I, Chacon-Limon IV, Chacon-Boza-Edwards II and Saad Muhammad-Lopez II.

In the 1990's watch Kid Akeem Anofowashe-Robgert Quiroga and the first Carbajal-Chiquita fight.

In the 2000's I think it is impossible to find a better combination of ATG skill and savagry than Morales-MAB I.
