My personal favorite is Slap Shot.

And they don't get much better than Raging Bull.

I will update my list... I finally watched The Blindside this weekend. Hell of a good movie even if the cameo's by most of the college coaches were painful to watch. It qualifies for my list since I would gladly rewatch it.

Still haven't seen Invictus though. Probably will take it in shortly...

Invictus is a great movie IMO. I think you will enjoy it. I enjoyed the Blind Side but it doesn't make the cut in my top sports movies but deserves to be mentioned.

I forget about Sandlot... Not the best acting by any stretch, but what can you expect from a bunch of kids? Still was a very enjoyable movie... +1

I agree, but then again I was a little kid when it came out. So I was watching The Little Giants, Angles in The Outfield(like that as a kid), Sandlot, Rookie of The Year, Little Big League ect

probably can't add Rounders as a sports movie but since they play poker on ESPN I might as well. Love that movie.
