| Former heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman will continue his comeback bid by fighting fellow American Shannon Miller next month. The bout is set for June 19 at the Niagara Falls Conference Center, and will be formally announced at a press conference on Wednesday, promoter Nick Garone says. For the 37-year-old Rahman (46-7-2), this will be only his second fight since losing to Wladimir Klitschko at Germany in December 2008. In his only fight since, Rahman scored a first-round technical knockout over Clinton Boldridge in March. Miller (16-4-0) hasn’t fought since July, when a bout against Terrell Nelson was stopped in the third round following an accidental head butt and ruled a no contest. Miller has won only two of his past six fights. http://sports.yahoo.com/box/news;_ylt=Ahr2W_nF1ZmcvFNhuSPuOjKUxLYF?slug=ap-rahman-miller |

| Shannon Briggs is still fighting too. They make halfway decent money in these fights, more than they would doing anything else. Rahman has no other skills besides boxing. He was a gang enforcer in Baltimore before getting into the ring. He should sell his story, I'd watch that movie. | |

??????? Well to be fair didn't Wladimir's previous opponent pull out with injury ? Wasn't it Povetkin who tripped over a log. |

??????? Hasbeen talked a lot of smack towards Vitali when Vitali had to retire due to injury, saying Vitali was a coward ducking him. It was just Wlad sorting out some family business. Also Wlad needed a name oppononet due to Povetkin's injury as Ali alluded to. However you do make a valid point. | |
