XBOX 360 vs. PS3 vs. Wi

Best gaming system, my vote hands down goes to the 360, graphics pretty much the same as PS3, but the games are miles better, pretty much 90% of the best games on PS3 are also on the 360. I've owned both, but sold my PS3.

Like I said on the other thread, I bought a 360 for only 1 reason, Gears of War. I got fucking hooked playing online multiplayer. But the graphics for PS3 and 360 are exactly the same, no difference at all. But I love Blue Ray, it is the fucking shit. I could care less about the web browsing on the PS3. Blue Ray is the only thing that gives it the edge IMO.

Pros for PS3
-free online system ( I wouldn't pay to be online)
-Metal Gear Solid & Final Fantasy (2 best gaming series EVER)
-Plays Blurays (big deal for me)
-Higher ceiling when it comes to graphics and what not.
-better controllers (I've played Xbox a ton and just don't like the way the controllers feel vs PS3s)

360 without a doubt. Better games, equal graphics and a cheaper price.

Yeah I have no clue how PS3 is getting this many votes, they have no games besides MGS that aren't also on the 360. If we're talking about entertainment system I could see why people might pick the PS3, but we're not, we're talking gaming system, for gaming, and the 360 is better for that.

360> Xbox > my penis > PS3

for gaming they are pretty fucking close, the graphics are the same. Fuck what anyone says there is no difference or atleast no noticeable difference. I do like 360 games better I guess considering my love for Gears of War. But as an overall product I love Blue Ray, it does make a difference.

I have a Blu-ray player though better than the PS3's, I've owned both systems and the games are soo much better on the 360, and that is what it's all about to me. 360 comin out with a new controller that's similar to what Wi's can do, just thought I'd mention it

September, October and November are gonna be HUGE months for video games on the 360

Halo: ODST is gonna be comin out
Tekken 6 (also for PS3)
Left 4 Dead 2
CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE 2!!!!!

and a couple other big names coming out. Those are gonna be the first 4 I buy for my 360 come those times of the year when they come out.

I'm absolutely stoked for the new Call of Duty. Call of Duty 4, for the 360 is THE BEST game to ever come out onto a gaming system.. and Modern Warfare 2 is gonna trump that

Although, Modern Warfare 2 will be on both systems...the online play for it on the 360 is way more intense.

PS3...use it for my blu-rays and MGS and God of War 3 were really the only games I bought a system for. Most games are multi platform anyway and I don't give two shits about Halo so I didn't care about getting a 360. I don't feel like dropping 60 bucks for games that often so I only by the good ones anyway. Uncharted was pretty killer and the 2nd one looks even better. Resistance wasn't a bad 1st person shooter either

they should lower the price so I can buy one.

wii was cool for about a month. ps3 never gets old.

I own a 360 and love it, but the one thing you guys are missing in the comparison is the reliability of the hardware. Ps3 wins there. Red ring of Death will stop your gaming for 3 weeks and there are disc scratching/dirty disk issues with the 360 as well.

Xboxlive used to blow away the Playstation network and is still better, but PSN is catching up and free.

I owned a PSOne then a PS2 and i bought a PS3 last year so im sure you all know what my answer is...

Ps3 games suck.

Their first person shooters cannot even compare to that of the 360.

And you cannot seriously say their online experience is anything like Xbox Live. Its often replicated but never duplicated...you cant beat it.

360 hands down.

PS3 is just an overall more capable system.

i voted 360 but if i could trade it in for a ps3 i would in a heart beat. I dont even play Halo. But it was cheaper. I miss Metal Gear series, although i just heard the next game will be available for both!

Which is why the 360 is better, the best games on PS3 are avaiable on the 360, but not the other way around, and the Halo series is the best in gaming all-time IMO

Gears and Halo are probably the two best first person shooting franchises in the history of video games thus far...both strictly for the 360.

God of War 3 and Heavy Rain are going to be possibly the two sickest games to come out over the next 6 months and both are PS3 only. I've never understood the fascination with Halo. I played this new one multiplayer and online all night at my buddies house and there was nothing special or unique about it to me. Gears of War is about 10x better than that shit
