Why is Joe Riggs in there twice? Is there the 240lb version of Riggs that sucks even worse than his normal weight?

How does this game look shitty? This game will blow the ufc game away as far graphics, game play, and pretty much everything else. Im not even getting ufc 2010, i'll wait for this to come out.

completely disagree. EA is 10 times the company THQ is. They perfect sports games. Ea Sports MMA will be the best mma video game no doubt in my mind really.

The new UFC game will be 20 times better than the original, while this EA title will still be a first generation game for it's franchise.

EA makes great Football(soccer) games.

I won't be getting any of these. Rentals at best. I had 2009 for about 3 weeks and was very disappointed. 2010 is nearly every bit as fun to play as 2009 from what I have gotten out of the early game play. Judging by the demo from 2009 to the actual 2009 game, I have little interest in buying the new 2010. MMA doesn't translate into a very fun game in my opinion. It is far more complex in reality to other sports and loses a lot what makes MMA cool to watch in it's transition to a video game.

If I rent em and they are good enough to buy they will be good enough to buy boat. We'll see, don't have high hopes that the fighting will be substantially more fun in the actual game then the 2010 demo. Winning should be more fun.

From the looks of it EA is using the same engine from Fight Night 4, in which case the game won't be as good as THQ's. THQ developed a gaming engine specifically for UFC Undisputed 2009. 2010 blows 2009 out of the water already judging only by whats in the demo so far. It's leaps and bounds ahead of 2009 already and the new game isn't even out yet.

The game play will be awesome I predict, because EA Sports is the best. The only problem I see is they only have 2 guys who might make the P4P list and the roster, with the exception of the old timers, looks marginal. And please save your complaints. So many of you are anti-UFC because they didn't label themselves Pride or you hate Dana or the rules are not nearly as good as they are in Japan. However, Pride fell apart, U.S. Commissions are state-by-state and are being sold to still, and whether you like him or not DW does do a good job. Just because he won't bend over for Fedor, does not mean they run a bad company, in fact there is a reason they are worth a billion and SF is worth 10% of that.

Sega past EA in sporting games a long time ago. The 2K series has been my favorite now for awhile. 2K10 is widely known as a much better game then NBA Live 2010. 2K also has great hockey and baseball games.
IMO the new UFC game should be a much better game, but I'm willing to give EA it's fair shake on this, we shall see.
