- Yeah cause Kimbo has like the greatest chin in the world except for when 220lb Seth Petruzelli put him down in under a quarter minute while Mitrione knocked his last opponent out while stepping backward. Kimbo will lose this fight because this is a terrible matchup for him. Mitrione cuts to 265 and has alot of power in his hands. Kimbo won't be faster after a few leg kicks(and Mitrione is training with Roufus and Eric Schafer, so you know leg kicks are part of the daily grind). Mitrione's bottom game is good enough to stay out of major trouble if Kimbo can even take him down. Big Baby's ground game was much better than Kimbo's and he couldn't lock anything up so I'd say Kimbo's chances at it are between slim and none. This is a fight Kimbo will lose.
Big Baby doesn't want to get hit and has one of the worst chins in MMA, don't look into that KO too much

Big Baby doesn't want to get hit and has one of the worst chins in MMA, don't look into that KO too much My point is bad chin or not, Mitrione obviously has just as much if not a hell of a lot more power in his hands than Seth Petruzelli does and if he brains Kimbo with one I don't think the fight goes on much longer. Leg kicks will probably also be a factor here, and I just don't see Kimbo winning this fight.

| Mitrione is no better than Kimbo, where are you coming from making him out to be soo much better then Kimbo, He wasn't exactly great on TUF, this is a fight between two equal guys that could go either way. | |

| I never said he was better. I said this is a bad matchup for Kimbo. Kimbo goes from fighting a guy who couldn't even build up to 210lbs who almost kicked his fucking leg off to fighting a guy who outweighs him by almost 30lbs? Kimbo is a brawler, and brawls usually favor the bigger fighter is what I'm saying. Kimbo isn't known for having a stellar chin, so unless he can avoid getting tagged good for 15 minutes I don't see him winning. | |

| Meathead is one peculiar character, but oddly I kinda like him.
Kimbo is definitely shot, that knee is shattered. |

| The first round was entertaining but Kimbo just doesn't have a good gas tank and has no knees. That's a disaster | |

| To say he has no athleticism is a bit over the top... How else would you explain the fact that he not only slammed Mitrione once, but picked his 250lb ass up and powerbombed his ass again. I'd say thats some athleticism at work there if nothing else. He actually fared better than I thought he would in MMA coming from literally nothing but a backyard brawling background. His ground game seemed to develop a bit faster than you would think a mid 30's striker's would. If he was ten years younger he may have a bright future, unfortunately he entered the MMA game much too late without a proper background to facilitate that kind of thing (Ala Aaron Simpson or Randy Couture) and had much too much abuse on his knee's to have success. He probably could have had at least 3-5 fights in the UFC even with losses had Houston Alexander not shown everyone in the world that Kimbo had a glaring weakness in his body that could be easily taken advantage of. | |

| Kimbo has raw power that is explosive for about a minute then he is done, Mitrione had a good game plan against an opponent who really has no legs, going forward seeing him fight real heavyweights will tell us ow good he can be, he has good power and is in a good camp, time will tell on him, but give him a legit heavyweight next time, 225 does not a heavyweight make anymore. | |
