DOW plunge

Whether it was a glitch, misplaced series of trades or the fears of what's happening in Greece... Today's free for all of almost 1,000 points before a late recovery to a -328 for the day is just a reminder how fragile our economic state still is. I'm glad I have very little in the market... But it was entertaining in a sick way to watch that 90 minutes of panic...

I've been meaning to ask u Cubes, how old was ur Grama when she took the pic in ur av?

It made my life a misery for the last few days. I guess things are better in the Asian markets so hopefully this will slow or reverse the freefall. My take is that the glitch triggered the mystery surrounding Greece, thus the sell-off.

nah no mystery on greece, they are getting bailed out along with portugal by the rest of the euro alliance . Price tag 1 trillion dollars. Where is it coming from??? none of the countries have any real money. England is trying to restructure their public healthcare option as its contract ends but cant afford to drop it. Its suppose to cost like $17 billion more each time it renews but they cant afford to scrap it and go private

They should let Greece fucking collapse. That is what happens when you have 54% of the employed people in the entire country working for the government. Fucking ridiculous. I wouldn't bail them out, I would let place burn and then go help the survivors. They will be strong from the event and know they can't do that kind of shit again.

I know...but I am not a socialist. And every country that has employed a socialist/communist model has serious problems. Socialist Germany, they built great cars and the autobahn, but constantly invaded other countries, plus they murdered 10 million people, including 6 million Jews. Soviet Union, murdered not only the Czar Nicholas II, but also his wife and children...the kids just for sharing his blood. But they did build great tanks, even if they murdered about 45 million people to do it. Communist China, they only killed about 60 million people and had a horrible economy, until they started introducing capitalist ideals in their economy...However, they also tell you how many kids you can have, of which thy prefer boys over girls. Cuba, LMAO! Well at least the leadership lives well. Don't worry, I will be one of the people they whack, when they start employing that kind of shit in this country and it is not far away.

Andrew, Start looking to live in other countries. Equador,costa Rica are among the top places for americans and euros to retire to.

New Zealand is another place to consider.
