The Tennessee Athletic Commission has issued a total of six individual complaints in conjunction with the brawl at the end of the recent Strikeforce event in the state, with each man having fourteen days to respond.
According to Sherdog.com, Cesar Gracie confirmed that Jake Shields, Gilbert Melendez and Nick Diaz are all in receipt of the letters, although Nate Diaz is not. One other fighter sure to have received a letter is Jason “Mayhem” Miller.
Both Miller and Nick Diaz have been refused permission to compete on the promotions June 26th fight card in San Jose due to the promotion awaiting word from the commission over disciplinary action. I guess we have a couple of weeks still to wait.
