I'm biased and I BELIEVE this year is the year for my Cavs if Lebron stays healthy.

LeBron deserved the MVP...KD is not nearly as meaningful to his team as Lebron is to Cleveland.

The Cavs have been a 60+ win team two seasons in a row...you take Bron Bron away and they fall to a 25-30 win team...MAYBE

the Thunder are only like a what... 48 win team? If you take Durant off that team they may slip to a 20-25 win team...but that is still not anywhere near the fall that the Cavs would go through.

Lebron is currently the best player in the league bar none.

I told you my opinon on KD was biased. But leading your team to 27 more wins then the year before IMO is more impressive. Also Wade deserved the MVP last year, no biased there just the truth.

I thought last year should have been Co-MVP's with Lebron and Wade.

Yeah, but the Thunder also have alot of young talent around KD. Russell Westbrook is a stud.

I can agree with that. It wasn't only KD and they did get rewared for the major turn around with the coach of the year. Do you think KD should finish 2nd this year in MVP?

Yeah, no doubt your team is on the rise.

Hmmm...that is a tough one...I would say definately 2nd or 3rd, because alotta the other guys who usually are up on top had down years this year. Yeah, i'd say he will pry take 2nd or 3rd.

Deserves it, but I agree with those that are saying he won't win a ring this year. He's still a one man team. I'm going to take the overall talent on the other top teams over a one man show any day. Once they land him more than the statue of Shaq and Mo Williams, I will start to believe they can overcome the more talented and deeper teams around the league.

I guess Antawn Jamison isnt a good player?

Yeah, Jamison can play, but you're missing my point... I'll take the starting 5 and benches of the Lakers, Boston and Orlando over the Cavs in a 7 game series right now. I wouldn't be shocked at all if Cleveland doesn't get past Boston. And I would bet against them if they face Orlando in the conference finals or the Lakers in the finals. IMO, the only way they win it this year is if they don't have to face one or the other. They just aren't beating both, IMO... I just don't like the match-ups in a 7 gamer. I get you "wanting" them to win it all, and I'll concede it's possible... It's just not probable.

For Cleveland's sake, I kind of hope they win it all... Because if they don't I think Bron is outta there...

LTFG...I think just the opposite. James wins a ring and he fulfills his obligations to his hometown and is now free to go.
If he loses, he still owes his hometown the ring and still has a point to prove.

I think his desire to win and create a lasting legacy is too strong to hang around for the home folk to give him a winning roster... Loyalty only goes so far in cases like these...

I disagree, I think leaving Cleveland would almost be admitting failure. I think Bron is a little more hard headed then that. He might give them a list of 5 guys or so and say "Get me one of those guys". I think he wants chapter 1 of his legacy to include a ring in Cleveland. Wouldn't be surprised to see him sign a short term deal to stick around for that ring.

Toronto sucks!! If u leave Turk on Orlando u got a 6-10 point guard that is a huge matchup mismatch that Vince doesnt give u. Vince isnt nearly as good of a shooter and at this stage in there careers I take Turkolu. Turk got into some trouble in Toronto and the fans and media kinda turned on him but if he was still on the Magic they would have been the number 1 seed and my pick to win it all.

Its a mute point because the cavs will win the title this year.

Vince is still a damn good shooter. Why do you keep saying Cavs will win like it is fact? It is more like wishful thinking. I stay behind what I said, they need Vince right now, they don't need Turk. That is just how I feel. Obviously you disagree, I got that.

I'm saying it will be a failure in LeBron's mind. I think it would always be in LeBron's mind that he couldn't bring a title to his home town. I don't think it is really loyalty as much as it is proving a point. I think LeBron is dead set on proving he can bring that title to his town. Not really because that is his home town and he wants it for that city, but rather that it was an expetation and he wants to meet that expectation.

he deserves it. He's the best player in the league by a large margin. That said, if this elbow seems to be hurting him as bad as it seems, that will hurt their chances big time. I still think they will make it to the finals but no way they beat the lakers with him not 100% healthy.

Best player by a large margin? Really? A healthy Kobe and D-Wade IMO are just as good. If you want to argue LeBron has a slight edge then fine, but saying "a large margin" makes you sound crazy.

well call me crazy then cause he's the best in the game. Wade? Im a fan of the guy too but if you're starting a franchise there is no way you take Wade over Lebron. When it's all said and done, Lebron will unanimously be considered the greatest player ever.

IMO Wade is just as good as LeBron. Like I said though I have zero problem with anyone calling LeBron the best. It was the "It's not even close" that really gets me. I'll just call you crazy lol

I think you're overthinking it. Simplified, he's done all he can and they haven't done their part. He isn't so bent on proving a point that he wants to retire ringless and destroy the argument between Malone and Barkley as to who the best to never win one is...

Maybe I am overthinking it. I just get that feeling from LeBron. Just my guess on the subject.

Yeah but IMO that doesn't mean anything when comparing the two right now. He had a nice squad around him that year. I just think he shows the same ability to take over a game. IMO he is just as skilled as LeBron. LeBron has that freak of nature size/speed/body. But they both are extreme gamers that can take over a game. Also both very fun to watch when they are in the zone. Again if you think LeBron is better, I get that. But by a large margin? That I don't get.

Whoa now, greatest ever?... Based on what? Think of every facet of Jordan's game and career and tell me where Bron has the edge or where you think he will have the edge. Because right now, six years in, he might not even be top-10 or 15 all things considered. Is he a mad talent?... Sure, but let's not get carried away here...

look im a huge Jordan fan and it pains me to say it. In a game of 1 on 1 in their prime, i'd take Jordan def. But Lebron will pass all his stats, break all his record (except championships). Jordan was probably a better pure scorer, and while Jordan was a very good defender, he wasn't blocking shots into the 20th row like Lebron does. And i am kind of making assumptions here. This is all based on him staying relatively healthy for the rest of his career.

Jordan wasn't blocking shots like LeBron but he was stealing the ball and shutting guys down. IMO Jordan was a better overall defender. Blocks are fun and flashy but they don't tell the whole story. Jordan was the better lock down defender. Jordan is 10x the shooter LeBron could ever dream to be.

Jordan was a MUCH better overall defender. Nine times all NBA in that regard. Agree with Sooners on the ability shoot the rock as well. He wasn't great early in his career, but he worked his game and became a great shooter.

LeBron has a LONG freaking way to go to be mentioned in the same sentence as MJ in the GOAT argument...

Just comparing stats through their first 7 seasons

PPG - Lebron : 28____ Jordan : 32
Assists PG - Lebron : 7____ Jordan : 5.6
Rebounds PG- Lebron : 7 ____ Jordan : 6
Blocks PG - Lebron : 1____ Jordan : 1.3
Steals PG - Lebron : 1.7___ Jordan : 2.7
i didn't realize Jordan blocked that many shots early in his career. Comparing stats i have to say Jordan seems to be the better scorer as well as all around defender. Lebron has a head start as far as age goes though. He's the youngest player to every major scoring milestone so far.

Also I believe Jordan won his first title in his 7th year and I think King James will match him there also.
