| http://www.mmamania.com/2010/4/28/1448735/ufc-quick-quote-paul-semtex-daley"I am not in a rush to rematch him. I am so much better than I was when I lost that fight. I don’t like talking about it - I didn’t perform and I didn’t do myself justice. He’s a boring fighter. Fair play, he’s had a lot of wins and he’s a top fighter who adds to the division, but I enjoy being called the most exciting new fighter in the UFC and don’t want boring fights. Shields is always in boring fights due to his style and I don’t want to be in boring bouts. I am happy to go 6-0 in the UFC before thinking of a title shot. But I also understand that champ Georges St-Pierre is running out of opponents and so guys are getting title fights a little sooner because GSP has beaten a lot of the top guys, including Koscheck." Translation "I don't want to get beat by Jake again!" | |

| I don't want to see a rematch either. Daley is always game for exciting fights, give him people that want to fight. A fight between Jake and Paul will be boring 100% of the time. | |

I don't think watching Jake GNP or subbing Paul is boring at all.

Translation "I don't want to get beat by Jake again!" Bingo. I watched that fight again recently and Jake isn't the same fighter either. He's a much bigger fighter now. He's really toned up. Jake would tool Daily

I don't think watching Jake GNP or subbing Paul is boring at all. You would when you watched it. His GnP is one of the weakest in MMA. I think it would be more likely that Daley fall asleep from bordem then KO'd by Jakes GnP.

| You are right Sooners that 100% of the time a fight between these two would be in your opinion "boring" because Jake would take Paul down and beat him 100% of the time because he's a better more well rounded fighter. Guys like Daley that whine and cry about guys not wanting to stand with them make me sick. Your fighting in MMA if your striking is sooo bad ass and you just want people to just stand with you go box or kickbox. This is the same thing I hate about Hardy talking about GSP like GSP didn't really want to fight him. It's BS cause GSP did fight you and beat your fucking ass deal with it. And now I think I'll go throw up for having to defend GSP. | |

jk lol See the thing is I really want to be a fan of the guy. I mean I love Nick and Diaz his teammates, I even like Gil. Also his good buddy Chuck was my original favorite fighter. But I just can't bring myself to be a fan of the guy. I'm trying to force myself to be a fan and I just can't. I have no hate or hard feeling toward him, I do root for him in a small way.

Yeah I don't like Daley because of his attitude, I just can't get behind Jake no matter how hard I try. I like the guy and his team. But you have to admit he has almost zero standup and his GnP is one of the weakest I have ever seen.

| I thought the 1st fight was very entertaining. daley had jake in trouble a couple times, and jake put on a jj clinic that ended in a 2nd rd sub. By no means was that a Mayhem shields type fight.
For the most part jake is pretty boring though.

Oh I'm not denying he has no standup and it would be nice to see his GNP actually cause some damage. I was just saying imo he's not completely boring to watch. I love the ground game too

| watching Jake dominate a one dimensional fighter like Daley just doesn't interest me. Now give me a guy with some ground skills that will atleast make Jake work for it and I'll watch. I don't mind ground battles(keyword here) or watching subs or somone with legit GnP, but watching a BJJ guy go from dominate postion to dominate postion bores the crap out of me. | |

| Why is he even talking like he'd get a rematch? Sheilds would come in and fight GSP, Kos is gona maul Daley, he'll be fighting someone like Condit after that. | |

Good point. Where does he get off thinking he'll fight Jake again? All I've read says he'll come in the #1 contendor to GSP. Daley is way down the food chain

| I'm sure the reporter just asked how he felt about Jake and if he wanted a rematch. He knows he's down the list and I think he wants to be down the list because he don't really want to fight a well rounded fighter. If Hazlett would have just took him down Daleys words would mean nothing anyway.
What's really gonna piss me off is if Kos comes out trying to stand with Daley. Don't get me wrong if Kos KOed Daley on the feet I think I would run a lap around my block screaming YES like my name was Diego but Kos needs to just take him down as soon as the bell rings and ruin him.

I realise that and understand that Kos def can KO Daley but I don't want him to risk it. I don't want to risk any more hype going to a guy that I know will lose if someone would just take the fucker down.
