| Omigawa defeated WEC and Dream veteran Micah Miller by unanimous decision and remains one of Yoshida Dojo’s notable roster staying behind in the MMA realm. Omigawa said that he only has eyes for the WEC and the fighters that compete there.
"I want to fight in the same ring as the strongest in the world. Right now in America’s WEC, Jose Aldo and Urijah Faber are fighting, right? Chan Sung Jung also just had a great fight there, so it’s there that I must fight as well. I need to clash with the strongest in the world," he said. "

| Who cares about this guy? His most notable wins were both losses IMO. | |

| I thought this was a possibility with the falling out between his camp and his promoter. That is why "Astra" was the brand that promoted the retirement show, and not WVR. | |

| What Kings? Omigawa is a top 5 talent in this weight class right now and has been brilliant since the beginning of last year. Quality win after quality win. Don't badmouth fighters you look up on Wikipedia to learn about. | |

| Take that back. You know damn well i'm not one of those wikipedia guys wolf.
I saw his fights with Hioki and Sandro and they were both bad decisions. Not disgusting but top 5 my ass. I saw his fights with Kanehara, Takaya, Davis as well. I think i've seen enough of the guy to form a valid opinion...and that is he's not top 10 and would lose rematches to his two most notable wins and would lose to Bibiano and Hansen. Definetly nothing to get excited about in WEC in my humble opinion. He would barely be top 10 in their division, i could see you like him but i say he's..nothing special.

| He is WVR, not Dream. I thought he lost to Hioki, but won the other one. Maybe the fight with Kid is bleeding into this one, but I thought I recall him losing a bad decision to Kanehara.
In my opinion he'd do quite well in the WEC for a Japanese fighter. I think he'll at least be in close fights with contenders. Knocking Takaya silly and decisioning Miller are both awesome wins. He isn't a fluke, he gets better and better.
And ya kings I know you legit. I just couldn't let you hate on Michihiro Omigawa who is easily my favorite Japanese fighter right now besides Akiyama.
