| As a Vikings fan I mixed feelings about this. Like you LA I'm tired of having to listen to this crap as well. But now I have a season to look forward where our QB is either Sage or T-Jack. Of course starting a new center and a rookie right tackle I could see the Vikes giving up more then a few sacks, and Favre wound not lost long in that situation. oh well...Skol Vikes. | |

| Now that I give it some thought....I would have nice to have a QB that can throw farther then ten yards. | |

| I dont think Favre woulda played well. Just let AP carry the load and let the QB pass 15-20 times a game.
smashmouth football wins championships. for example- The Pittsburgh Steelers.

| as a huge die hard vikes fan im glad this is over and like Jared Allen has said on Jim Rome it would of been a bonus to have Favre but the team still has 2-3 qb's (if you count booty into the mix) that can do the job...
Peterson is running for 2,000 yards this years fellas!
Vikings>Packers... thats rite combat!

| Well defense wins Championships, I don't even think the Steelers had a very good rushing game in the Bowl, someone check the stats from that game. | |
