NFL commissioner Roger Goodell says Ben Roethlisberger has violated the NFL's personal conduct policy, but would not confirm reports on when he will announce discipline for the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, he said on the syndicated Dan Patrick Show on Monday.

Asked by Patrick if there has been a violation of the NFL's personal conduct policy, Goodell replied "Yes, there has been a violation of that."

"The issue here is respect to a pattern of behavior," Goodell said.

So does this mean he will be suspended? For how long?

4 games! Come on he slipped up like 3 times....may have not been charged but its the personal conduct. Goodell is a smart man tryin to clean up the bad image player give the NFL?

i dont really get what "Personal Conduct" violation means. Did he commit a crime? No, or at least no charges will be filed. So what is he in trouble for then? Being a man slut? I understand trying to clean up the league, but you cant be suspending guys for 6 fucking games when technically they didn't do anything wrong. Was it bad judgment for him to be at a bar hooking up with drunk 20 year olds? Yes. But is it illegal? No.

I'm almost always on the side of the athletes in these cases and figure the chicks are out for a payday until proven otherwise but there's just too much fishy shit with this case. I wouldn't be surprised if this chick is driving around in a Ferrari pretty soon

I can get fired from my job for dumbshit conduct, you can get fired from your job for dumbshit conduct. Laws don't have to be broken for you to violate a personal conduct rule that is set in place by your employer. So yes, he 'technically' did something wrong.

Where there is enough smoke, there's fire. He's a fucking scumbag predator. The vast majority of other players have no problem at all getting pussy, yet this guy has multiple accusations of fucked-up, predatory behaviors.
