Timothy Bradley vs Marcos Maidana postponed

The anticipated Timothy Bradley-Marcos Maidana fight that was scheduled for June 19 has been postponed due to an injury sustained by Maidana, according to a press notice from representatives of the Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage, Calif., where the 140-pound showdown was to take place.

No details have been revealed about the nature or severity of Maidana's injury but it is not believed to be anything serious as July dates are being discussed by the bout's promoters.

It is not known if the Agua Caliente Casino will remain the venue for the fight, which will be televised by HBO.
