| It's in Portland, Oregon. I'm sure that's why. | |

| Lindland needs a lower level opponent to gear back up if he ever wants to fight at a top level again. | |

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Lindland never fights a top level opponent again.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Lindland never fights a top level opponent again. Agreed. He is over the hill at this point. He has slowed way too much in the last 2 years to still be fighting top level competition.

| Lindland needs to retire... I know he probably needs whatever little cash he can make fighting no-names but he needs to retire and seek a new profession. He's been a joke since Fedor manhandled him and he obviously can't get it done in the political arena either... Maybe the local Safeway needs a new bagboy? | |

I wouldn't say Fedor manhandled him. It was the other way around until Fedor grabbed the ropes and was able to take top position.

| No, that was a manhandling. When your only offense is to wrap your hands around a guy and hold on for dear life until the inevitable happens... You've been manhandled. Matt did nothing but land one left that not surprisingly opened a cut and "attempted" to take Fedor down which ended with him being on his back with Fedor working to get out of that death grip for a couple of minutes until he ultimately arm-barred him. I can see how someone might call that a valiant effort on Lindland's part, but in my book it's a manhandling... | |
