| Now, i know people are thinking what i thought at first...another "who?" matchup for Woodley but Coy is 8-2 with two very notable wins over Mike Pierce and Rick Story. Two guys on the right track in the UFC. He also trains at Team Quest. So it looks like Woodley is about to be tested by somebody along the same track as up and comers at welterweight like Pierce, Story, Lennox, Woodley, etc. | |

| woodley still on the challenger cards?(i'll accept that coy, whom I never heard of, is a worthy opponent) This along with the lindland fight says to me that sf is leaning more towards making the challenger cards worthwhile then bringing us more saturday night fights. Only have room for the big names(like Nagy? stout?) on saturdays. At least for the time being anyway.
Prob helps keep costs down.
One thing that I hate about the challenger cards is they start at 10 or 11 est, the main event aint on till 1:30. I work saturdays. it's a tough haul. | |
