What if Cornell manages to knock of Kentucky?

I know its a long shot but Cornell can shoot the ball from deep better than pretty much anyone...they shoot 43% from the perimeter AS A TEAM...alotta teams can barely manage to have one guy shoot that well, let alone an entire team..

so I ask you guys, if Cornell manages to knock off Kentucky...(it IS possible)...would it be the biggest upset in NCAA tourney history?

No, not even sure it would be the biggest upset of the tourny. Northern Iowa over Kansas would still be a bigger upset IMO. Everyone was saying Cornell got screwed in terms of seeding, no one believed they should have been so low(or high whatever is worse lol). Kentucky is very talented but still filled with freshman. KU was hands down the #1 team and no one saw that comming.

They were talking about this on First Take today, it was a pretty good debate...

I thought it was awesome when Skip Bayless called out Ryan Clark (the Seelers safety) and this other black analyst that were debating him after Ryan Clark said that if Cornell wins, he's done with basketball in general and that he'd put away his son's basketball.

Skip called them out and asked if they felt like this because of the fact that the Cornell guys were a bunch of white ivy league guys that pry wont make it to the NBA and the other two guys really didnt deny it too well, I could tell that Skip caught them off guard with that one.

Those guys went on to say that Cornell is "White America's team"

Just for that I hope Cornell wins this game...I hate such stupidity...Kentucky losing would further kill my bracket but oh well haha

Yeah, but you cant discredit someone because of what the press is saying. I dont like rich ivy league guys either and it wouldnt shock me if they did say it.

Another thing that wouldnt surprise me is if professors are giving the fab 4 freshmen at Kentucky breaks on grades so they can play. Calipari did that with Derrick Rose at Memphis and it wouldnt shock me at all if he was pulling the same garbage here at Kentucky.

I'm pretty sure most of us could say that. One and done players like Wall usually aren't the sharpest tools in the shed. Just look at Coach Cal's past/ He recruits guys who can't even take their own SAT.

lol true but i dont watch the guys cause of their grades. i saw a peice on espn about the prep boys and they were bragging about how one dude can speak 4 different languages and all of that. when i heard them talking about uk it was on a kentucky sports radio show so im sure they twisted some thing to get people all pumped up.

Don't get the cousins comments twisted. My bracke twas done and I was pulling for the kittens and for cous to break his leg. I thought UK would blow them out.
