| Who's next for the champ with the Thiago Alves fight scrapped? [I'm not sure if Alves v. Fitch would have gotten the next shot, but they are the division's 1 and 2 guys}:
A. The winner of Josh Koscheck v. Paul Daley
B. The winner of Paulo Thiago v. Martin Kampmann [if it's Thiago]
C. Jake Shields after he leaves Strikeforce

| Is that the talk now? THat would be a cool fight. I wonder if that would be enough to give Fitch another title shot. I think there should be a standing rule that Fitch fights GSP once-a-year. He does nothing but take out contenders, and put on a GREAT fight, if not a on-sided beating, against GSP. | |

no it's not the talk, just something I threw out there. I really think Serra deserves a contender, Fitch might be too high on the list but with the current matchups and injuries...why not?

| I think GSP should just pack on some weight and challenge Anderson after this. | |

Strongly disagree, IMO Fitch is 1 win away from earning another shot, I don't even care if that win is over Ben Saunders or whoever. Kos and Paulo Thiago are right there in line. IMO it is an awful idea for GSP to move up in weight. Especially considering Sonnen still needs his title shot and Anderson wants to challenge himself at HW. Just think it is a horrible idea.

I think if he gets one he gets beaten. He couldn't even finish Hughes after that headbut. The only quality win he had was the GSP fight that he didn't even earn. He got it handed to him because of TUF.

The only quality win he had was the GSP fight that he didn't even earn. He got it handed to him because of TUF. Can't assume an outcome. I do think he deserves a top contender. Like I said maybe not Fitch but with the current matchups and injures why not? He took advantage of his opprotunity how can you hate on that? He beat GSP fair and square, like it or not he is now a former WW Champion. By the way I hate that fucker, can't stand the guy.

I know you do Sooner. Fitch got bitched by GSP. GSP must want a challenge at this point, especially after he runs through Hardy Saturday night. There will always be someone who is 1 fight away from a title shot so according to you there will never be a time for GSP to move up. Hell, if Anderson wants to go to HW...let him. GSP can still move to MW and try to win the belt there.

The only quality win he had was the GSP fight that he didn't even earn. He got it handed to him because of TUF. The win over GSP was not a quality win, it was a lucky win. Obviously, it's nice to have on his resume if someone hasn't seen the fight or the rematch. However, anyone who thinks that win was legit needs to have their eyes checked. GSP dominates Serra 99 out of 100 times.

| Dan Hardy the new Welterweight champion will face Koscheck if he beats Daley ( which I doubt ) or Jon Fitch. |

Good point! I could see Serra jumping in there. They can postpone the fight with Renzo and have that down the road. It is in Jersey.

| I think Renzo and Serra are tight in fact. I'd like to see Serra maybe fight Diego Sanchez when he returns to WW. | |

| I want to see a Serra Hughes rematch personally. But Renzo's gonna beat him.
As for GSP, it should either be Fitch or Winner of Kos vs Daley.

| I don't think there's any way Renzo beats Hughes. I like Gracie, but he'll get wrestled for three rounds and Matt is savvy enough to avoid the subs. | |
