george bush, who fights Abongo on Friday, lost a decision to Ricco in April 08. That was Bush's last fight, Ricco has fought 14 times since then.

just in case sf is looking for a heavy with name recognition willing to fight on short notice.

Didn't Ricco lose like 80 lbs? Last I remember he was 215lb.

I hear ya there. It would pump up the card no doubt and I think it would be worth it still since they are trying to get going. Hit em hard first. I know of another wrassler who didn't fair so well in his big time debut and he and the company are doing okay. His name rhymes with Hock Besnar and the company is...well you get my point. If it's Ricco...now that would be a considerable leap in competition for Lashley.

Ricco is not good enough anymore for his "former UFC HW champ" title to mean what it should, but he is still a pretty solid fighter and measuring stick. Even years removed from his prime he wins more often than not and is near impossible to finish. Plus he's a very strong grappler and a real test for a wrestler who wants to stay on the ground like Lashley.

Wow Ricco looks great compared to the fatass he was. I remember watching his fight highlights on Inside MMA and seeing his blubber bounce around like a bowl full of jelly. If he's really lost that much weight that is awesome.

Ricco should be in SF or UFC at this point. No excuse for him not to be. I still think he is a solid, solid fighter.

UFC will never have him back IMO you dont do what he did and then get to be in a big time corporation
