Fedor confirmed for a June return against Werdum

This is only two months away, but in CBS/Strikeforce terms, this is an early annoucement. I don't think the UFC will counter this though. I think it has been made clear that Strikeforce, CBS and Showtime are prepared to start attacking PPVs. I also think Fedor may be off limits now. Notice how Dana constantly phrases Showtime and one specific unnamed guy there as the enemy, not CBS, not Strikeforce. He "likes those guys." He hasn't bashed Emelianenko recently.

Fedor should KO Werdum standing fairly easily, but this actually has the makings of a tough fight for Fedor if the ground game dictates the fight. I could see this being a tough fight that Fedor wins late or through decision that causes criticism.

Yeah this should be so tough for Fedor, lol. Werdum is not as good as Nog was right here.

Werdum still offers an interesting challenge. ADCC credentials like his are nothing to scoff at.

it sounds more like 3 months. agree UFC will not counter. But I have Fedor by early KO.

I will watch it for sure, but I would rather have Fedor fighting Overeem instead of the 3rd guy in SF. I could see UFC doing this to us making us wait for the big fight. Lord knows they have done it many times already. I guess it is all MMA orgs. Atleast Fedor has finally signed to fight. I hope we don't have to wait for next May or June to see him fight again?

There is no possible outcome to this fight that will not involve bunches of criticism of Fedor.

No live counter.. but, it's hard to imagine them not putting out some original product like re-airing the best 5 fights from their last 5 shows or something.

While Werdum is a good fighter, I think that Dan Hardy has a better chance of upsetting GSP than Werdum does of upsetting Fedor. Fedor will crush him standing, and Werdum's only chance is on the ground, and I can't recall more than a couple of times that Fedor has ever been in any real trouble on the ground.

Super heavy Mark Hunt was the last I could think of, and that was pure big man girth ground game.

Pamela???? What made you think I would want her...now anyways? It isn't getting old to me. I am just getting warmed up. Maybe you should get off my jock. I just want him to fight 3 times a year instead of waiting a year to find out when and if, and yes a top 5 opponent would be nice for the #1 fighter on the planet. I am settling by saying top 5 and not the NUMBER 1 CONTENDER!

It's all good. Ludo needs to chill out and stop with the bandwagon butt kissing. I talk about alot of things besides Fedor. Of course that is my favorite subject, because he is one of my favorite fighters and he is the GOAT. I don't even think about the "not Fedor" thing. I will change that right now.
