| I've been up here, or near where this was taken at leats. Gives a proper meaning to the term 'God's Country". Seen General Sherman too. Grew up about an hour away from Yosemite/sequoia/Inyo National parks. Those trees in that grove are surreal.

| I don't know the actual tree but there are area's pretty high up near tree lines were those warped and demented looking species are growing in the rocks. There are a lot of crazy things to see in the Sierra Nevada's. usually do a hike on the Muir trail or through other wildernesses up there every one or two years. | |
