Different venues will be cool.
The UFC should add the Pride venue to their game. In Career mode you should be able to pick your path to the UFC through either Pride, WEC, or TUF.

Pretty cool. Anyone know if they have a release date yet?

Release date was supposed to be 2011 but lately I am hearing they moved more developers to it to get it out this year.

Good, hopefully they get it out before the new UFC title. Prolly be tough to get it out before them but it would def give them a competitive advantage

no way it can get out BEFORE UFC 10, or even around the same time. Best case is it drops for X-Mas. But really don't hold your breath, next year will be far more likely.

Yeah I don't they'll get it out before the new UFC either. They they've been working in it for a while, if they release it shortly after UFC 10, it would be suicide. Won't sell well at all

If the gameplay is good, this could be huge for non-UFC MMA.

EA thought they were gonna get the game out this year but they are just now realizing its a lot easier to convert a wrestling game to MMA than a boxing game. According to Gamestop this game is another year away.

I'm hoping they allow you to fight open weight fights. I would like to atleast have the option to fight whoever vs whoever. I think that would be pretty cool.

Finally after all these years we're going to get to see Fedor vs Couture.

I read somewhere they are using the Fight Night Round 4 engine for this , that's good news.

I can't wait for this. THe different venues, the choice to fight in the ring or cage. If the career mode is better than Undisputed i may be stuck on the game.

It won't take much to be better than 2009, that goes for 2010 also. I really couldn't play that game after about two weeks. As video games go it was merely a novelty for me. I'm very skeptical of MMA games now because of it. I think there is too much to MMA for it to translate well in this format.

Undisputed was kind of a let down for me as well, but that was probably because i got myself so hyped for it and was expecting the perfect game. It was cool but i got very tired of it a lot sooner than i probably should have.

Undisputed was great I just sucked badly at the ground game.

my problem was I was the only one to figure out the ground game of the friends I played the game with
so anytime i went to the ground I was being cheap

I like how EA MMA has the ring thats just the shit IMO
