During intermission, there were a few announcements:
- Lightweight champion, Mizuto Hirota, is vacating his title. Hirota's right arm was, of course, severely mangled by Shinya Aoki on New Year's Eve. Arm still in plaster, Hirota told the crowd that he hopes to return in September.
- Featherweight champion Masanori Kanehara will defend his title at SRC 13 on June 20th, most likely against [the winner of bout #5 below].
08 : MW Title Bout : Jorge Santiago (22-8 ) def. Mamed Khalidov (20-4-1) via unanimous decision R5 5:00 In the first round, Santiago stifled some flashy offense from Khalidov (Superman punch! flying knee! spinning backfist!) and finished the round with the challenger fighting off a kimura. In the second, Khalidov controlled the top game, but nearly had his arm snapped in the closing seconds of the round as Santiago wrenched an omoplata. Third round swung in Khalidov's direction as the KSW fighter put Santiago on his back and mashed with punches (and missed stomps) from above. Penultimate round saw a fading Khalidov still able to drag Santiago down, but Santiago keeping more active in looking to finish with submissions (specifically, another kimura). In the final frame, a large cut opens over Khalidov's right eye with three minutes remaining, but he's allowed to continue. Santiago turned it on with clinch work and landed clean punches on a tired Khalidov. 48-47, 48-47 and 49-47 were the scores.
07 : WW : Akihiro Gono (32-15-7) def. Diego Gonzalez (13-4, 1 NC) via unanimous decision After two evenly matched rounds in which Gonzalez got the better of the boxing and Gono did damage with low kicks, the flamboyant Japanese fighter scored big with rapid-fire combinations and a few hard knees from the clinch. Two judges saw the bout 30-27 for Gono, with one awarding him a more narrow 30-29 victory.
06 : LW : Maximo Blanco (5-2-1, 1 NC) def. Chang Hyun "Armbar" Kim (15-6) via KO (punches) R1 1:10 Pancrase's lightweight king didn't give his Korean opponent a chance to go for his namesake submission, rushing Kim with haymakers and murderous kicks from the bell. Like Kanomata directly before him, Kim was removed from the ring on a stretcher. The only question now is: who does this Venezuelan menace face for the newly-vacant title?
05 : FW : Marlon Sandro (16-1) def. Tomonari Kanomata (15-5-5) via KO (punch) R1 0:09 It was a one-punch night for the featherweight King of Pancrase. Utter destruction from all accounts: Kanomata was left motionless on the canvas and later stretchered out. I do believe Sengoku's judges created a monster when they dicked over Marlon Sandro in his fight against Omigawa. If I were a Japanese featherweight, I'd run. Fast.
04: HW : Yoshihiro "Kiss" Nakao (9-2, 2 NC) def. Henry "Sentoryu" Miller (6-10, 1 NC) via TKO (punches) R2 3:27 Details unavailable (and, frankly, unimportant).
03: FW : Yuji Hoshino (17-7-7) def. Nick Denis (9-2) via submission (guillotine choke) R2 0:47 Despite a first round in which the smaller Denis mixed up his striking and utilized a rubber guard on the mat, Hoshino snared him with a guillotine and forced a quick tap in the second frame.
02 : LW : Leonardo Santos (7-3) def. Kiuma Kunioku (34-23-9) via submission (rear-naked choke) R1 3:06 Wagnney Fabiano's brother notches his first Sengoku win, easily mounting and then submitting Kunioku.
01 : FW : Shigeki Osawa (5-1) def. Kyung Ho Kang (4-3) via unanimous decision R3 5:00 As expected, a steady diet of takedowns, suplexes and ground 'n' pound got the job done for Sengoku's blue chip prospect, who gets back on track after catching his first loss this past November.

| Watched Maximo kill Armbar, Sandro kill kanomata, and Santiago in that weak main event.
Wasn't impressed myself. I don't care for Sengoku as much as Dream. This card was loaded with crap fighter cans.
