This fight's never gonna happen. How many boxing matches has Mayorga backed out of because they weren't paying him enough? He's gonna find out that he's gonna be making waaaaaaaaaay less than he was in a boxing ring and back out at the last minute.

A brawler journeyman like Thomas Denny would have been ideal.

The funny part about this fight is that there is absolutely no doubt that Mayorga has trained less than 5 minutes for it

No, cuz he's stupid. And he doesn't work out the contract negotiations for himself. He has his people do it.

Anyone else remember Din calling out boxers after one of his UFC fights? Saying something like "All you boxers out there talking shit, I'm the mother fucker you want to see".

Fuck that. Shine and Ricardo deserves credit for not Kimbo'ing the fight. If Mayorga can dictate what kind of fight it is and beat Din Thomas convincingly...he might deserve a look at LW. Atleast Ricardo is taking matchups right off the bat that can immediatly test his weaknesses. Din Thomas is no joke for a first fight.
