If you havnt seen this series you need to go get it and spend a few weeks or months and watch all 5 seasons.. It is probably the best series I have watched including Sopranos and entourage..

Most HBO and Showtime shows are great. I love Dexter and Entourage. Never watched The Wire but will some day. The only thing I hate is the sex scenes that don't need to be in the shows. You never know if a kid may walk in the room and hear or see something. The shows are all as good without that stuff being in there. Never understood why they throw that stuff into all of the shows?

While I enjoyed the Wire I also feel its pretty overrated. Everyone acts like its the hands down greatest show ever when some of the seasons were pretty subpar IMO especially season 2

Golbez do you enjoy gay rip and runners?? I dont even know what that meant .. so no
gangsta ass bitches like crips and shit? or females that act "gangsta" .. like the girls that get glamour shots with that multicolored background with themselves? No to both
intricate character development Yeah, I like that a lot.
drunk and dirty cops why would I like drunk and dirty cops?
working class odd thing to ask if I enjoy.
king pin dope dealerslI do like the movie King Pin
crooked politicians this is my favorite thing in the world.
Look I am sure the show is good .. I havnt even heard of it before .. I am just going by the only two things .. which is 1. If it is a cop based show it has to be something amazing or I am not interested (Se7en) there isnt a lot of room for mistakes.. its either amazing or I dont care, so I am already skeptical. And 2. that clipped that was shown sucked.
I am not trying to "insult" your taste here.. just giving my opinion on 2 things only... I will check it out though ... someday.
