| I got off work today and have to admit was alittle disgusted about the fact Jason Williams only got 5 years forgetting drunk and shooting his limo driver by accident a few years ago. He may only do 18 months cause thats when he is eligible for parole. The double standard between athletes or celebs strikes again. A normal person would probably have gotten 10-15 maybe more. What do u guys think? | |

| Where was the trial held?? it depends on if it was held in a liberal happy court. Shit like this in Cali all the time cause they actual believe in "correctional" facilities. | |

| Should be accountable for his actions by all means. He was negligent and killed a guy. He obviously has not atoned for any of his behavior. Since his ordeal, which he continuously tried to cover up, happened, he has been stunned by the cops for acting crazy in his hotel, gotten into bar fights, and been a drunk driver, basically the same junk he was getting into trouble for before he killed his driver. Nothing changed for him, now justice is doing him favors the ordinary, perhaps better, citizen wouldn't receive. | |

I don't think a person should ever get more than five years when it is manslaughter. Accidents happen even if this one was horrible. In this case with all the stuff he has done since as mentioned here, he should have gotten a bit more time like 10-15 years. He hasn't showed as much remorse as he should with all the bad stuff he has done for sure. | |
