What he's saying makes a lot more sense than if he was to say Fedor is the best HW ever, even though Fedor is the best HW ever.

No it wouldent. What would make the most sense would be to say Nog is ONE of the best HW of all time. That would make sense. It would put Cain over while at the same time ignoring the actual best HW of all time.

I put Nog #2 as well, and before Fedor had that ass he was the best of all time.

I undestand promoting a fighter, but i expect truth in labeling.

Anyway, i just thought it was funny as Dana knows what shit aint the truth.

If the clear cut HW Goat fights for another org, and Dana does not want to make note of that, then just don't say anything. Or he could say Nog is one of the best hw's of all time.

No matter how you slice it, it doesn't make sense to say something that is clearly false.

But it would be crazier for him to say Fedor, a fighter not signed to his oranization, one that he is the President of, and is by far the biggest organization in MMA, is the best HW ever. This is really easy to comprehend IMO, Business 101, don't promote your compeition, do promote our own business.

Im aware of what he's doing, and I know to take anything dana says with a grain of salt, but it's a flat rediculous statement, and only reinforces my belief that I can't take anything he says seriously.

First off, it is business. But it is also a stupid thing to say. Everybody, who is not insane, who is an MMA fan, writer, blogger, sportstalk, etc. who knows anything about the sport knows that Fedor is currently considered the best HW since this thing began. To say otherwise is calling followers of the sport dumb, best just to say he is considered one of the greatest heavyweights of all time.

There's promoting your company and then there's saying something that anyone who follows MMA at all knows is beyond fucking retarded. I honestly would be embarrassed to say something like that if I was the head of the biggest MMA org in the world but I guess Dana isn't

I think it would be an asinine thing to say if he said something like "Kimbo is probably the best HW of all time", but he's talking about Nog, who is in many people's opinion the #2 HW of all time.
