Well the short answer is cause Tito was just talking shit and bitched out when Dana actually trained and was ready to go. After that they didn't talk for a while. Tito retired for a time and then they buried the hatchet, and not in each others faces.

Didn't think people actually believed that. Supposedly what happened was White wouldn't sign the agreement Tito was supposed to or whatever and just portrayed the whole thing to make Ortiz look like he was scared or backed out. I don't really remember all that happened with that freakshow, but I never once believe that White didn't stage it all.

So then why didn't Tito ever come out publicly and call Dana on his shenanigans? For all the shit Tito likes to talk he'd have had a field day with that if it were even close to true. He bitched out.
