Yea I just want to see a real boxer with good takedown defense come to mma. So many fighters have this false belief that their hands are as good as a boxers untill the box one lol.

There are a lot of types of boxers. some would be better suited to MMA than others.

An outside boxer who avoided inside fighting would be the best. An inside fighter would find himself on his back too much.

I could agree to that statement unless the inside boxer is a former wrestler himself and implements dirty boxing.

he'd have to be a super elite greco fighter like Couture. I don't know of any guys who could get on the olympic team in wrestling and fight for titles in boxing, do you?

Pellegrino looked like he wanted to laugh as Cotto finished that duck under. Its really cool that boxers and mma fighters are working together and appreciating what each other has to offer. I have to agree with Wolf that a inside boxer would be taken down too often. Someone who works behind a good jab and is constantly moving would transition nicely. Vic Darchiniyan (not sure of spelling) wrestled growing up as his father was a national team coach in his country. He would have to compete in a 125lbs class though if he entered mma.
