Randy Couture vs. Rich Franklin

Rich either picks Randy apart, or Randy wins a Vera fight like decision.

Picking him apart doesn't mean he can't win a decision, but if Randy wins one, it'll be similar to the Vera fight.

Randy will eventually get this fight in the clinch and at that point, he gets Rich to the ground and beats him like a rented mule.

I'm surprised a lot of people think Randy wins this. I love him but he gets tunnel vision as soon as any halfway decent shot clips him these days and Rich's standup is pretty technically sound. I guess Randy could put him up against the cage and try to hold him there but I just don't see it happening

Randy has been rocked at least once in every fight since Brock finished him. I think twice vs Nog, twice vs. Vera and once with Coleman. That is all

Love rich as a person but as a fighter in the LHW division I think he will never be nothing more then a gatekeeper. This fight is sooo irrelevant I hope it doesn't happen. Let randy have anderson if he is still healthy.

Who wants to watch Anderson-Forrest II? I don't

I think its time for Randy to either pull off a stunning upset or realize he really needs to go! Will he win not likely but it will empty his spot for all the future stars and not make this crazy match up which does nothing for the division.

You could say that about 95% of fights.

But there is no catch like two current HOFs or they hate each other or striker grappler or BJJ vs wrestling nothing it makes no sense.

It makes sense because they are good fighters, in the UFC, and are available to fight. It will be entertaining.

I guess it's a good fight but damn, seeing those two names just makes me sleeeeepy.

Which is weird because Franklin usually has good fights but i can never get excited for his fights...even against Wandy and Belfort.

Randy has also been in entertaining fights in 2 of his last 3.

Im not a big Franklin fan, but I find this an interesting fight.

As to the Anderson vs Randy possibiltiy. No way. A totally unnecesary slaughter.

More than just 2 of his last 3.

Outside of the Vera fight the MVA fight was the only not so great one... if I am remembering correctly.

Man I guess im the only one that would like to see Randy get slapped around by anderson.
