| I believe Chuck Liddell & Matt Hughes have very winnable fights coming up and I think most on here would agree, but anything can happen in MMA. My question is what is next for these guys? Do they take the next step towards title contention and get top 10 guy? Or do they get an interesting match up that'll help cement their legacy? Maybe a rematch to with a former rival? | |

| I predict Chuck will beat Tito and go on to face Forrest when he loses to Lil Nog.
Hughes will beat Renzo and go on to face either BJ in a rubber match or Gomi at 170 or in a catchweight fight.

| Maybe Hughes gets Fitch if they both win there next fights? I don't think anyone's clamoring for an Alves-Hughes rematch though unless they dislike Matt. It all depends on whether they think Hughes still has another title shot in him or if they want to go the route of just making entertaining fights
Chuck's got too much of a shattered chin to be relevant in a division with big time strikers. I really don't know where he goes after the Tito fight. Maybe Forrest as Ninja suggested

| first off great question and I agree both are very winnable
I think Chuck gets Griffin like most believe, also why not another Randy Couture batte????
I think Hughes is no where near top 5 material anymore but in all reality I would love to see Hughes battle Serra again for a top 10 ranking

I think Hughes is no where near top 5 material anymore but in all reality I would love to see Hughes battle Serra again for a top 10 ranking I really would like to see Chuck fight Forrest and even Rich Franklin. I feel these fights are 'fun' from an entertainment value, are still big enough to help propel Chuck towards a title fight, and are just match ups that need to happen before Chuck hangs it up. I would be very unexcited for a Chuck-Randy fight. It is a been there done that fight to me. There are just too many other options in my mind. As for Hughes I think he needs to fight someone from AKA. I would prefer Fitch, but I think Swick would be interesting too. If Hughes did go this route and come away successful then he is definitely in line or very close to earning another title shot. I also wouldn't mind seeing more 'classic' match up with other MMA legends like Gomi, Frank Shamrock (if he'd ever come back to the UFC), or even a rematch with Serra too.

| Hughes should be fed to a moving up BJ Penn.
Liddell should fight Randy again.

Gerat point, Chuck vs Franklin would be fun , alotta fun, even know, IMO Hughes agree Swick would be fun, but have you seen Dana lately, I bet if you asked him who Frank Shamrock was he would say there wasnt a guy with that name in MMA. But I would love Hughes vs Shamrock

| i dont want to see hughes serra 2. I think hughes takes it standing or on the floor unless there is a butt or he gets caught. | |

If Hughes stands with Serra then there is always a chance he gets caught. I just don't see Hughes going with that gameplan even though they were relatively equal standing last time around. Hughes takes it to the ground like he wants to in EVERY fight. The fight would be more so to answer any questions left unanswered last fight. I feel the whole fight was off because of the head butt. Plus these guys still hate each other and would get a lot of good quotes.

| good point
I thought the first fight was fun BUT
I could see it playing out like the Mosley Forrest rematch
people expecting a good rematch and have a fight that doesnt come close to living up to the first one

| Chuck if he wins in my book I could see him fighting Ace. But to be honest if Rampage beats Rashad I wouldnt mind seeing a Rashad vs Chuck rematch. | |

| fighting Chuck again would be a step down in competition for Rashad, even if he did lose to Rampage. Rashad was too quick for Chuck the first time around and then did what everyone was expecting after the first round. | |
