| ahahahahahahahaha fuck no shit?
Not that USC ever schedules SEC match ups, but I don't think SEC powers will have to do too much to get amped up if they do play SC sometime now...

| I'm a life long Vol hense "ohioVOL62". We welcomed him, an outsider, into the Orange nation. We backed him when he shot off his mouth to UF. We backed him when HE commited multiple NCAA secondary violations. We did him a favor hiring a guy with no experience and also bringing in his daddy. We fired a lifelong Vol who won a National Championship to make all this happen. I hope Kiffin's plan crashes. The lowest circle of hell is reserved for traitors. | |

| I can understand Vols fans being pissed but I wouldn't point to the firing of Fulmer as a negative. That desperately needed to happen | |

| I'd probably take the SC job over UT too.
And don't act like you did him a favor when you fired his old man. He has as good a resume as any DC in the nation.

| John Chavis was a very good coordinator. Monte's defense was actually rated lower than UT's D the year before. To leave after one year is a shitty thing to do. I can't see how he can have any credibility with recruits now. He sold UTs kids the world to up and leave. USC will get the death penalty in a couple years. | |

It prolly did need to happen. I just wish we had gotten a better guy to take his place.

| Definitely a prick but it's not like this doesn't happen all the time. I just hope the Vols can't entice Muschamp to leave Texas. | |

| Wow I just heard some reports about Ed Orgeron calling the mid term incoming fish and telling not to enroll and to come to SC while at Tenn using Tenn's phone. Now that is some low ass shit. | |

Regardless of what Muschamp does, the whole "next coach in line" is total BS. You and I both know Muschamp is a very good coach and should probably be a candidate at any major university (including tu when it becomes available) but in now way does Dodds intend to just give him the keys to the car when Mack retires.

| Its crazy cause it isnt like Tennessee is some JV squad. UT is a football power and although any coach in there right mind would probably want to take over USC right now in a year or so how many 4 or 5 star recruits can u sign when ur on probation. Kiffin is a SC guy so im not shocked he left just alittle concerned as a parent how can u trust this guy when he comes into ur home to recruit. | |

I'd like to have him but it prolly won't happen. I'm not sure but I think Muschamp turned us down last year.

I think they do intend to offer him the job when Mack retires, the problem is that could be 10 years down the road. If Muschamp leaves Texas I think that offer will be off the table. Ultimately I think they will give Applewhite the OC job and he could possibly be the head coach one of these days. But yeah, the next coach in line stuff is mostly a ploy to keep Muschamp at Texas as the DC. At any rate, I don't want to see him go to Tennessee or anywhere else.

| I'll tell you what, I wouldnt want my son playing for Kiffin at SC with the kinda shit him and Oregron just pulled.
I think it is going to hurt SC a little bit for a couple years with recruiting.
Case and point is the top offensive lineman in the country...Shantrell Anderson or whatever his name was...was 50/50 between Ohio State and USC and now that Carroll is gone and Kiffin is in...word is that Anderson is now going to be coming to my Buckeyes!
Great news for my Bucks cuz this guy is drawing comparisons to Orlando Pace! WOOO!!! lol

| I highly doubt having Lane and Monte Kiffin come in is going to hurt USC's recruiting, especially defensively | |

| it has nothing to do with that Bobbit. It has to do with a character and integrity issue.
And after the stunt Kiffin pulled with Tennessee, kids are going to have a harder time trusting Kiffin than they would with some of these coaches that have established themselves with the other high end football programs.
Any analyst I have listened to has said that this is going to hurt recruiting for the Trojans for a little while.
