| Hell Yea! How great was it seeing Ochocinco cry like a little baby after Revis shut him down all game? Our Run D needs to tighten it up but i was very happy with the offense. Shonn Greene is a lil beast and our RB of the future, Cotchery made some great catches, Keller had some big plays, and Mark Sanchez outplayed Carson Palmer. Despite that TD drop from Braylon the offense was pretty much perfect tonight.
Go Jets! | |

| Colts or Chargers. We dont know yet. I'd honestly prefer the Colts i think we have a better chance of beating them than we do the Chargers. Revis can match up with Wayne, but then the problem is shutting Dallas Clark down, which is hard to do. | |

| The Jets looked good Yesterday, but they are a real jeckle and hyde team, and just a game above .500 in the regular season. This is the same team that was in that awful game against the Bills remember?
The problem for the Jets lies when their run game doesn't get rolling or if they get behind early and they have to throw. I think Mark Sanchez has an awesome future, but he is still a rookie and at times turns into a turnover machine. I know Revis is a shutdown corner, but Chad was on a bum knee and the entire Bungle reciever corp was riddled with injuries.
This is not a team you can trust. The AFC is having a super down year.

| Everything he said was pretty much true. It was definitely a down year for the AFC this year | |

| how's that? The 2 best teams in the league (indy and San Diego) are AFC.
Just cause the Pats suck doesn't mean the rest of the AFC does.

| Mark Sanchez is starting to get it. Also he's in good weather conditions for the rest of the post season. And stopping our #1 ranked rushing offense is easier said then done. We just obliterated the number 1 rushing defense in the league. | |

| A) I don't think Indy and San Diego are the two best teams in the league
B) After those two the rest of the AFC was mediocre all year as evidenced by all those teams sitting at .500 down the stretch

| I like it when people get asshurt and claim you don't know anything about a given sport when you don't praise insert whatever mediocre over achieving team/fighter/ice dancer with pretty standard opinion shared by many analyists world wide.
The Steelers and Pats were down this year, two powers year in year out. The AFC had 8 or 10 .500 teams still in the hunt in the closing weeks of the regular season, and two of that pile beat division winners and move on.
On another note, as I type this the Cardinal game just ended, epic, just epic.

| I went 3-1 picking the first round of the playoffs games.
Still kinda pissed that my Eagles got embarrased again, but oh well, what can ya do?

| Yeah it sucks...the Eagles let go of my favorite player in the NFL in Brian Dawkins...they need him on that defense, he makes all the difference in the world.
If we still had dawkins, I think we would win that game.

| Dawkins was lookin' for too much money for his age. They were smart in letting him walk. I wish my Bears would have let Urlacker walk.
Anyway, unless Brian Dawkins doubles as a quarterback coach to work on McNabb's inconsistancy and crumby accuracy, a head coach to actually coach Eagle players UP for big games as opposed to Reid's teams continually falling flat when it matters the most, and also a wideout for when their one weapon, DeSean Jackson is covered, than naw, he ain't helping shit.
He didn't help the Broncos down the stretch did he?
PS sorry for doin' your Eagles like that bro.

| While all your statements are fair, but was the Broncos defense this year not MUCH better than in years past after getting Dawkins?
Secondly, DEFENSE wins championships, not offense.
If my eagles would have taken Beanie Wells in the first round this year over whoever it was they picked this year in the first round, I think the team woulda been better.
They need a smashmouth running back to help open up the passing game, along with having Mccoy as the speedy, agile back.

| Dawkins doesn't beat the Cowboys for you. They dominated the Eagles 3 times this season. It's simply a mismatch. | |

| Ya, that live or die by Westbrook approach that fucks them every year has got to go.
We all know defense wins championships, but that alone is somewhat of a myth. While the Ravens nearly ten years ago won without a legit offense, nearly everyone who has won the last 20 superbowls had a hall of fame caliber, franchise quarterback, or at least an offense that was clicking like one ran by a HoF for a short time. Manning, Manning, Brady, Rothlisberger, Warner, Young, Favre, Elway, Aikman and the list goes on. The Colts won with the 24th or 28th ranked defense thanks to Manning.
There is a similarity to MMA here. What wins titles in MMA? Elite BJJ, elite wrestling, elite striking? You can win being one dimensional, but it's hard. All three at this stage are needed. What wins titles in the NFL? Elite defense, elite offense, elite special teams? All three.
Being well rounded wins championships, and truthfully, if I had to take an over used cliche to describe the NFL, I'd go with "it's a quarterback's league" over "defense wins championships".

| oggy, what didn't make sense about what I said here? I wanna force the issue.
You wanna talk football, lets talk football kid.
In fact I'd like to see someone win a fucking argument with me here lately. Been on a serious tear lately. Farmer raped when I said Couture will be given another title shot he doesn't deserve when a day and a half later the UFC announces as much, LA trashed when he claimed the loss of a couple of guys who have been in Strikeforce for less than a year would immediately bankrupt them.
Then again I donno why I am looking in this thread for a challenge, because Oggy has no chance here either.
