| http://www.mmamania.com/2013/6/23/4458098/report-glover-teixeira-vs-ryan-bader-yushin-okami-vs-ronaldo-souza-inThe third UFC on FOX Sports 1 fight card that will serve as the lead-in to The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 18 is beginning to take shape with the addition of two significant bouts - one from the light heavyweight division and the other from the middleweight division. First, in a fight that was supposed to take place at UFC 160 last May, Glover Teixeira and Ryan Bader will hope the second time is a charm when they meet at the Sept. 4, 2013, event, likely to take place in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Second, in a match up UFC President Dana White confirmed was in the works weeks ago, top 185-pound contenders Yushin Okami and Ronaldo Souza will go head-to-head for a place near the top of the divisional pecking order. Brazilian news outlet Portal do Vale Tudo first reported news of the bouts and the location of the event, and MMA Junkie followed up with confirmation from sources closed to the situation. UFC officials have yet to confirm the reports. Following the injury that forced Bader off the Memorial Day weekend fight card, Teixeira faced James Te Huna on short notice and earned a quick first-round submission victory that scored him an extra $50,000 for the "Submission of the Night." Teixeira is 4-0 since joining the UFC roster with victories over Kyle Kingsbury, Fabio Maldonado, Quinton Jackson and Te Huna. Bader will hope to stop the momentum of the Brazilian and get back some momentum of his own after spending just 50 seconds of time in the cage in the past year. The time was well spent, though, as "Darth" earned some bonus money as well with the "Submission of the Night" at UFC on FOX 6 last January. Okami has managed to resurrect his title hopes after what seemed like the end of the line just over a year ago. "Thunder," who was put out to pasture by reigning division champion Anderson Silva in Brazil, was brutalized by the barbaric bombs of Tim Boetsch at UFC 144 in Japan. Since then, he's managed to string together three straight wins, including consecutive decisions against Alan Belcher and Hector Lombard, two fighters considered "in the mix" at the time. Like Okami, Souza is also looking to get back into title contention after dropping the strap to Luke Rockhold under the Strikeforce banner. "Jacare" is the winner of four straight, but unlike Okami, has secured dominant finishes in each bout. He was last seen strangling Chris Camozzi at UFC on FX 8. It is unknown at this time if either of these bouts will serve as the main event of the evening or is the UFC has plans for a different headliner. MMAmania.com will have more on UFC on FOX Sports 1 #3 as the fight card develops. | |

| Aside form the two guys who just beat him, every other top ten LHW except Mousasi is booked to fight so something should pan out once those go down. | |

| IF Silva beats Weidman next week I really wish the UFC would push for him to face Rashad, they could use it as a way to hype up a potential Bones fight. It won't happen though | |

| You're using big IF's for fights that don't need them. Dragon and Spider will destroy. | |
