| Who you got next?
A few thought's I've had so far.
Edgar vs Melendez is the fight I want most. I know Edgar has a fight, just something I want to see.
Before Henderson got his first shot at Edgar, Melendez was lobbying for that fight and I thought he was the more worthy candidate without hesitation. Strikeforce ended up staying in business for another year and the fight never happened. Judging by the respect Melendez was getting around the webz going into Saturdays fight I'm going to make the assumption that a lot of fans didn't know he was a wrecking ball in japan at 143 pounds in the early years of his career. He gave Takaya his first loss out there and got a big upset of Sato. He was the Number 1 ranked Featherweight in the world in 2005 heading in to 2006 before he moved to 155 in Strikeforce. Edgar vs Melendez is a big fight and would set up a Melendez Showdown with Aldo or Pettis should he win among other big fights.
I'm very intrigued by this idea also: Thomson vs Nurmagomedov/ Trujillo winner. Nurmagomedov is already in the argument as one of those guys that is top 5 to 20 range. Trujillo is looking a little bit like a monster. The winner of their figh is gonna be on a significant momentum swing.
Mike Pyle and Matt Brown would be an absolutely awesome fight. Both were 2012 Fighter of the Year candidates. Pyle was and might be ranked higher still today after his three consecutive baller status KO wins, reality is brown is good but he was around #30 to #20 before beating Mein and Pyle was already #20 to #10 or better. I'd rather see that good matchup over just throwing a so called "name" to brown. It is a meaningful matchup to make. I think Brown has earned a big fight with a guy like Pyle. Both guys have paid serious dues.
Also another guy I know has a fight... Nate Diaz vs Edson Barbosa. That would be good matchmaking imo.

| 155 is the toughest belt to win in the sport. But you never know. | |

| I believe he has the tools. He's also only 24. I see him in the category of guys like Rory McDonald who will lead the UFC in the future . |

| He still has to show me something against a real good opponent. I thought he lost pretty much every round to Tibau even though the fight sucked | |

| The cards on that fight were pretty bad if I recall. three 30-27 score cards and a giant chorus of boos. Don't remeber much of it but I want to say Ii had Nurmagomedov via split, but I might not of.

| http://www.mmajunkie.com/news/2013/04/ufcs-daniel-cormier-said-he-could-decide-on-future-weight-class-this-week - Quote :
- "I have a call into the boss on Thursday, and we'll see what happens," he said on Tuesday.
Cormier, who suffered a near-tragic weight cut during his Olympic wrestling days, admits he's still not sure what he prefers. However, he sees attractive options in both weight classes, though a move down to light heavyweight likely wouldn't be completed until late 2013.
"Big fights – big fights are what I'm interested in," he said. "Whether it be at heavyweight or whether it be at 205, it doesn't matter. I'm going to get with my team this week, and we're going to make a decision."

I can't wait to find time to watch seasons 2-3. Id imagine that was one if the lil baby dragons the hot blonde walked out of the fire with at the end of season 1.
