| Good pick up. He's still middle of the pack and they need some established good guys to lend credibility to that division. Janitor is a worthy win for any up and comer. | |

probably a major price difference. Even so I just can't understand the decision to pass by on a top ten Welterweight. I get that Bellator want to build their own stars but what better way to build up Ben Askren than by having him take on a legit guy like Jon Fitch. | |

| I think it's because Askren would not have gotten the due credit for dominating Fitch because Fitch has proved to have defensive wrestling flaws in the Maia and Penn fights. People in the know would expect Askren to dominate him because they know Fitch aint gonna Fitch Askren...but Askren wouldnt finish him.
I also think Fitch didnt want to go to Bellator. These long established guys don't want to do the tournaments when they can still fight every 4-5 months for the same pay with no Askren to dominate you. | |
