I'm leaning DC, Nate and Gil right now. Just not sure about Bendo-Gil.

Bendo and Cormier. Still undecided on Diaz-Thomson. I do hope we see an improved and more in-shape Mir after he left home to go to Jackson's though

I think Frank gets knocked out just the same. Doesn't matter what camp he was in.

I watched the road to the Octagon yesterday on FOX. Apparently that is the story. This is supposed to be an in shape Mir with a more modern training camp, him trying to keep up with Bones and Browne.

I am confident most in Cormier. Slightly leaning Gilbert and Thomson, slightly. Bay area sweep.

Why would anyone ever root for Mir?

Mir has almost no shot to win this fight IMO. But I went ahead and rolled with Gil, Nate and DC. Even though I personally think Bendo has about a 55% chance of winning right now.

I think DC is really good, and could be the champion one day. I just think Mir rises to the occasion in this one and pulls off a vintage Mir sub.
Gil is good, I just don't see him beating Bendo. And I gotta go with Nate to bounce back with a big win here

Bendo by being all around better at everything. DC by being more explosive on the feet and dumping Mir on his head a few times for fun. Diaz boxing range and meeting Thompson's pace.

How do you think Mir gets the sub exactly? Do you think he reverses or sweeps DC? Do you think he lands a takedown of his own? Do you think maybe he finishes off his back? Just curious, because I think this fight takes place wherever DC wants it to take place. If he wants to go to the ground that's what will happen. But if he doesn't? I don't think there is anything Mir can do to get it to the ground outside of pulling guard. I expect DC to look to land a bomb and eventually I think he will.

I don't see it, but maybe if in the later rounds Mir lands something that hurt DC. DC goes into wrestle mode, takes down Mir, and gets swept via being gassed & hurt.

Big because its on FOX? Or big because it's Thompson? I don't think Josh is that big of a win. Not as big as Miller, Gomi, or Cowboy.
Or big win could mean he wins impressively, like dominating and finishing.

big win as in he looked really bad against Bendo, and this is a big fight for him to show people that his last performance was not typical Nate Diaz. I think Nate boxes him up and gets a sub, at least that's what im hoping for.
And idk exactly how, but I think Mir likes these types of fights, Bringing in a world beater who is supposed to whoop up on Mir, im just saying that has backfired before. And I think we could see a revitalized Mir, switched training camps, away from his family, seems really motivated. Plus who knows if DC as UFC jitters.
