| the CBO had originally estimated that 3 million employed people would loose insurance due to companys taking the penalty rather than paying higher government regulated plans. That number is now estimated at 7 million employees that have had health insurance that will not. To make matters worse 29 states have elected at this point not to participate. As of now an estimated 7 million americans who had employer provided insurance will be not only without coverage but may have to travel to find a public station to receive care.
I think this actually helps nationalize care, touche obama your dream could be realized very shrewd good sir

| Here’s a simple democratic principle: Those who make the laws should be subject to the laws they make.
The Problem. President Obama, the White House staff, Cabinet secretaries, and all of the Administration’s political appointees are exempt from any legal requirement to enroll in Obamacare’s health insurance exchanges. While Members of Congress and their personal staffs are required to enroll in Obamacare’s exchanges, the White House, through questionable administrative action, is providing them hefty taxpayer subsidies to offset the resultant increase in their personal health care costs. In other words, Washington’s arrogant political class is getting exemptions or special treatment denied to ordinary Americans.
Obamas policies = Do as we say, not as we do. Aint that American?

| "This report is intended to send the message, 'hey everybody wins, this is a great thing, please show up,"says Holtz-Eakin.
"That's not the reality. The reality is much messier. There's going to be some people who do better. There are going to be a lot of people who do much, much worse."
The Manhattan Institute analyzed rates around the country and found that for people of medium income, costs will soar -- up by as much as 99 percent for men, and up about 55 percent for women.
"Even if the average American gets some subsidy, a partial subsidy," says Roy, who authored the study,"that partial subsidy won't be enough to overcome the dramatic increase in the cost of insurance, the underlying cost of insurance ObamaCare imposes on the market."
But insurance premiums are only one part of the puzzle. Most plans also have very high deductibles.
"Do you have a large deductible?" asks Holtz-Eakin. "How much do you have to pay before the insurance starts picking up the cost?"
Analysts expect deductibles to be in the $5,000 to $6,000 range for the lowest level of coverage, the bronze plan.

yea, affordable my ass this! our insurance enrollment was june. I now pay $7k out of pocket before coverage. thats deductible plus premiums. I do have an alternative insurance but enroll in november, I hope its a bit better but not holding my breathe. I am setting up a flex medical account to save on taxes but really this is more work and money for essentially same care for me and my family. I wonder how bird would say this is a better plan?

| Americans Flood Obamacare Facebook Page With Complaints Top comments are critical of health law
Kit Daniels October 3, 2013
The most popular comments on a government-ran Facebook page for Obamacare were made by Americans plagued with problems the health law has introduced, including excessive premium rates and the inability to even enroll through the bug-ridden Healthcare.gov web site.
Healthcare.gov, the main federal government web site for Obamacare, makes public announcements through the self-titled Facebook page, which Facebook users can respond to with their own comments.
Recently, an announcement on the page thanked Americans for their feedback regarding the Obamacare enrollment process, which, in the very rare instances that it even works, frightens Americans with premium rates typically double and even triple what they were paying for before.
“I am so disappointed,” L.S. said in her comment with the most up votes. “These prices are outrageous and there are huge deductibles.”
“No one can afford this!”
Another commenter felt the same way.
“I am a single mother of two, in school and working full time, living 75% below the poverty level and I DO NOT qualify for a healthcare subsidy,” S.J.A. added in another popular comment. “Are you ******* kidding me? Where the **** am I supposed to get $3,000 more a year to pay for this “Bronze” [the lowest cost] health insurance plan?”
“I DO NOT EVEN WANT INSURANCE to begin with! This is frightening.”
These two commenter actually managed to get through the enrollment process, which has not been the case for most others.
“I’ve been stuck at the security questions since 9am on October 1st,” S.R. added, in reference to one of the first steps in enrollment.
“Took me two days to get my info in and my account verified via an email link,” B.C. wrote in a comment that received many replies. “Now when I log in it tells me the info is wrong.”
“Very frustrated in Jersey.”
“I’m having the same problem, B.C.,” one of the responders said. “I finally got past the security question problem, got my account, my verification email, and when I went to log in, it said the information was invalid.”
Another commenter, a veteran, made a startling statement. “As someone who has been on military insurance for many years all I can say is this new healthcare law is proof positive that you really can polish a turd and sell it to people,” C.N. wrote in a comment that as of this writing received 121 thumbs-up. “Just you all wait and see just how wonderful government run healthcare really is!”

| Obamacare is A Self-Incrimination Surveillance Program
We have already established that Healthcare.gov is not a functioning database application that allows people to shop for competing health plans. It is actually a government-run Trojan Horse that suckers people into creating accounts where they hand over: • Name and address • Email address and password • Social security number • Private bank account details • Employer details and other information
During the enrollment process, your computer also hands over your IP address which is then tied to your social security number.
This IP address is then handed over to the NSA thanks to its new mega-black-hole data center in Utah, where your IP is cross-referenced with all website visits, including: • "Anti-government" websites • Porn sites • Gambling sites • File sharing sites • "Terrorism" support sites • Encryption service sites like Hushmail • Chat rooms, message boards and more
Latin filler text, desperate programmer comments and disastrous architecture.

| at this point I am actually in favor of letting obamacare pass.
I think we should go ahead and let Obamacare roll out because it is going to implode on it's own.
The Obamacare platform was the fantasy dream of the socialists, the democrats, the liberal Obama worshipers.
This was the dream of the obamabots. Everyone will have free or affordable healthcare. You will be able to go online and sign up, it's done, you don't have to worry about it again.
The failure of this program is the failure of Obama.
This is the downfall of the fantasy land thinking of the democrats.
Morally, this should be blocked. But now that we know this thing is going to implode, and any competent programmer can confirm that, we should just let it pass.
Let them own their delusion.
And if we know anything, its that they will never admit that something is wrong. They will just keep throwing more money at it and refuse to face reality.
And I haven't even touched on the security risks. Once it is up and running hackers and identity thieves are going to have a field day stealing peoples private information.

| let me know when you meet a single person who has been helped by obamacare.
seriously, I'll be waiting.
If you can even find one person who's premiums haven't gone up, haven't seen their deductibles increase, I promise to never criticize obamacare ever again.
Man it's really sad that this sorry excuse for a healthcare plan is Obamas prized possession.
