| Bellator paid up for EA to have non title fights vs Huerta and Aoki. They also brought in Jay Silva for a 1 and done to get mopped up by Lombard. I could see Rampage getting a fight by fight contract. Why not put Rampage vs Babalu on a card now that Babalu is out but still has a "name"? | |

That fight wasn't that bad. Glover is a bad man. Not just the last fight tho, he's been looking sluggish for a while now... It's sad but i really don't see him contributing much to the sport of MMA.... BUUUUT! I totally see him in a K1 fight somewhere in Japan

| He looked alright against Glover, better then he's looked in a while, but it's 2013 Glover is better.
Bjorn really should keep his mouth shut. Smaller promotions like his either miss or hit home runs by rolling the dice on. Mo vs Page actually is viable as a PPV main event with their other three top ranked fighters fighting for their titles. Rampage is a score to Bellator if it happens but Bjorn running his mouth like this is gonna create a rift before anything even happens at all. Stupid to comment about it by Rebejeney.

| Exactly OU. I just want him to fight king mo then retire. And glover is not impressive. He will get his ass kicked by bones, Hendo, machida, Gus, shad and probably shogun. | |

Yeah that's why people refuse to fight him and Machida went on and on about how he was a monster in camp and the next big thing. Chuck and Machida give him the thumbs up. I'm buying it.

| I'm sorry but if he was a beast he would have taken rampage out back for a legit ass whoopin. That was pitter patter. And of course machida would talk up a Brazilian. I stand by my word. Hopefully he gets a top 3 next. | |

It took Jones 4 rounds to put Rampage away. Don't forget Rampage was competitive vs Machida and "won" that fight. Jones is the only one that has stopped Rampage recently and that came in the 4th round. Hater.

Don't know what you have been watching to make you think that, but it's definitely not Glover Teixiera.

| +1 on not buying the glover hype. Good but not great. Would lose on the feet vs Gus and Mousasu. Would lose on the ground vs Davis. A great match up for Bader. | |

| Ben Fowlkes (MMAjunkie) not buying Glover just yet either. - Quote :
Are we getting ahead of ourselves with the Glover Teixeira love?
The Brazilian light heavyweight looked great against a rapidly fading Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, but am I the only one who thinks it's too early to start talking about him as a title contender? Teixeira has won all three of his fights in the UFC, but he's yet to beat an opponent who's coming off a win in the octagon. Jackson is by far the biggest name he's beaten, and that wasn't exactly the toughest "Rampage" we've ever seen. That's not to say Teixeira won't become an elite light heavyweight, but does anybody really think he'll be able to snatch single-legs that easily against a Jon Jones or even a Phil Davis? Let's see him beat someone on the way up before we declare him the next great contender at 205 pounds.

+1 Rampage is done. I am gonna go ahead and make the BJ Penn excuse and say if Rampage would get motivated and in shape he could still be a beast. But until he does that, yeh he dun.

Who are these people Ben Fowlkes is claiming are saying he takes downs Jones and beats him like he did Page? Show me these people. Though I do agree with Ben about Teixiera being elite part. Who is saying he is the best?

| No one is saying he is the best.
I am saying he cannot hang with the elite. Or better wording would be he is unproven.
If I was a betting man I would bet that his career gets derailed in his next fight if it is against the elite.
Also Ben isnt quoting anyone. He is speaking for himself when he says he cant do to Jon Jones what he did to Rampage. I agree with him.

Glover should be ranked between 6 and 10 in the world at LHW. A large talented proven KO artist with above average submission skills who hasn't been significantly challenged in over 7 years and 18 consecutive fights against all kinds of fighters is an unimpressive pitter patterer to you, then I guess that's how you see it. Of all of the LHW fighters in the world, how many do you think defeat, or destroy as you put it, Glover?
