If not Reem, then Werdum is probably next. Matchup wise both interesting fights for Cain.
I wonder if Cormier vs. JDS is on tap assuming Dion Staring does not hijack the train. Doesn't Werdum have a tuf to film and a match with Old Nog ? |

Yeah, which is why it's probably Uber should he beat Silva. That fight in in Feb. They can have that fight on tap for Spring or early summer. Werdum and Nog arent expected to fight until June.

| The real question is...where does the Duff Man figure into this after his first round smashing of Phil De Fries? | |

Todd's win over De Fries just proves that Overeem's victory was a fluke. |

| I don't mind keeping exciting fighters. As long as they're put on the pre-lims. |

The only thing exciting about a Garcia fight is when they are announcing the decision and we really don't know if the guy who whooped Garcia is going to get screwed or not. Garcia has not really won a fight since he beat Jens Pulver. The guy is pretty much on a 10 fight losing streak. He's a joke.

| I don't get why everyone is praising Philipoopoo he only won because of an injured hand and an eye poke, he shouldn't crack the top ten. |

the guy has a jurassic one trick style and his run was fairly amazing in this era. . This is a bit short sided IMO. If JDS would have hit cain with that 2 against the cage in rd 1 I think it would have been the opposite outcome. Not to take anything from cain he slayed and is a wrecking ball. JDS still has the TDD and boxing to ko anyone in HW. I think cormier would try and do the same to JDS but who else in the hw div could? Cain and Cormier could implement the gameplan but if jds catches cain he is looking like he did in rd 4 and 5 in the first round or 2.

Leonard Garcia: $20,000 John Moraga: $22,000 (includes $11,000 win bonus) def. Chris Cariaso: $12,000 Now, the usual disclaimer: The figures do not include deductions for items such as insurance, licenses and taxes. Additionally, the figures do not include money paid by sponsors, which can oftentimes be a substantial portion of a fighter's income. They also do not include any other "locker room" or special discretionary bonuses the UFC oftentimes pays. They also do not include portions of the pay-per-view revenue that some top-level fighters receive. For example, as previously reported, UFC officials handed out additional $65,000 UFC 145 bonuses to Duffee ("KO of the Night"), Moraga ("Submission of the Night"), and Miller and Lauzon ("Fight of the Night"). In other words, the above figures are simply base salaries reported to the commission and do not reflect entire compensation packages for the event.

| So after digesting all the crow this morning I want to say how Miller vs Joe saved this card for me. That was an excellent fight and the main card was pretty bad up to that point. My eyes were more red and swollen then JDS's was by the time that last fight was over. But damn my boy has heart for days. I was reading a little bit this morning and saw something I agreed with. Cain took everything from JDS that night except his heart. No matter how many times Cain put him down he got back up. I respect both fighters tremendously following that fight. I know Cain had to reach down deep to keep the pressure on JDS late in that fight. It has been a long time since he had to dig down that deep in a fight, probably since the Kongo fight. I thought Cain also showed alot of heart in this fight and proved how bad he wanted it. Extremely impressed by what I saw in those last 2 fights. True warriors on display. | |
