| I wish one of u were here to punch me in my face! I tuned in just in time to see ross vs soto, and see Paul Harris vs Lombard just happened. I really wanna bang my head against the wall right now for missing that and seeing the outcome. I honestly had no idea fights were on or that fight was tonight. I still don't know if a bellator card happend either. I need to get my shit together! | |

| There were 2 fights between Lombard & Pearson, but overall a solid card. UFC needs to get their shit together and realize Mendes is a bad dude and belongs on main cards only. He'd be in P4P convos if Aldo wasn't such a dominate champion. | |

| He's actually shown some standup in his last 2 fights albeit against suspect competition. He's interesting in that he's already gotten a shot at Aldo but really hasn't faced any of the other top guys in the division other than Koch a few years ago when he was like 21. A lot of routes you can take with him | |

| Omigawa was highly ranked when Mendes beat him. Swanson is a vet and a nice W. The lighter divisions still seem a little less established as far as who's who so the rankings change more often. | |

- The main card average of 972,000 is down from October's UFC on FX 5 card, which averaged 1.1 million viewers. But the FUEL TV prelims more than doubled from the prelims for UFC on FX 5, which averaged a series low 44,000 for the card in Minneapolis.
In UFC on FX 6's main event, Ross Pearson (14-6 MMA, 6-3 UFC) knocked out George Sotiropoulos (14-5 MMA, 7-3 UFC) in their fight following stints as coaches opposite each other on the second international edition of "The Ultimate Fighter," "TUF: Smashes." On the same card, Hector Lombard (32-3-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) picked up his first UFC win with a devastating first-round stoppage of Rousimar Palhares (14-5 MMA, 7-4 UFC). Plus, Robert Whittaker (10-2 MMA, 1-0 UFC) won the "TUF: Smashes" welterweight crown against Brad Scott (8-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC), while Norman Parke (17-2 MMA, 1-0 UFC) outpointed good friend Colin Fletcher (8-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) to win the lightweight tournament.
Prior to this past weekend's event, the five UFC on FX "fight night" broadcasts averaged 1.24 million viewers. The high-water mark came with UFC on FX 2, which took place in Sydney this past March and averaged 1.4 million viewers for a card featuring the start of the UFC's four-man flyweight tournament and a welterweight bout between Martin Kampmann and Thiago Alves.
