And that(wanting to fight Diaz) has Hendricks equally perplexed, that St-Pierre or his camp perhaps are trying to work their way around him.

"He's trying to keep money from my kids," Hendricks said. "If I win that belt and take it from him, my life changes. He's trying to not give me the fair shot. That's crazy to me to think this guy is trying to control my future. That makes me want to win that much even more."

That wasn't an act. Wasn't scripted. It's not like your boys rehearsed commentary. Chael's bread and butter isn't wrestling, it's annoying, scripted WWEish smack talk.

I know it wasn't an act, they are low grade thugs. But acting like that camp doesn't have the act down is hilarious...they are in the media all the time stirring shit up

I haven't seen a single Cesar Gracie fighter get a fight they didn't deserve because of talking shit. They actually do shit in the cage to earn their shots. They might try to talk shit but their real skills are in the cage. Unlike your boy who relies 100% on his mouth to get his next fight. Diaz boys earn their shit, Chael doesn't.

There's one fight he didn't earn, that's not really a track record

It's how he remained/remains relevant.

I think he could have remained relevant by being the number 2 fighter in a weight class but he did a great job of marketing himself. Props to him

He did take out stan and bisping. Solid run after smashing Anderson.

Have we really forgotten that before they started giving him a microphone Chael was an above average middleweight who stifled and wrestlefucked some very good fighters? Nobody ever manhandled Marquardt the way Chael did, and the same goes for Okami.

If he doesn't slip up vs Maia that is probably the 2nd best run in the MW division ever behind Anderson's.

Sure Johnny because GSP has this evil plan to keep money away from your kids and never intends to face you. I was starting to like Hendricks but that comment from he makes him look like a complete retard.

The only person who's keeping money away from Hendricks kids is Johnny himself, he's the one choosing not to fight next unless it's for a title.

i told ya Hendricks.

Diaz might not even have to win a fight to get the next crack at GSP.

The Bones-Sonnen fight proves that UFC all about da bling bling..so is GSP. Diaz got next. Go shave while you wait.

Firas on the Diaz fight
Quote :
"It's just that the Diaz fight has been cooking for a long time," Zahabi said. "Wherever I go, people jump on me and ask me when he's fighting Diaz."

"It's been years I've been answering that question," he said. "'No, he's not fighting Diaz. He's fighting (Carlos) Condit.' I have to explain it a thousand times. It's been on our mind for a long time. It's not about anything personal or anything else. It's just been cooking for a long time."

On the Silva fight
Quote :
"I don't manage Georges, so I think that's a talk he has with his manager and they have with the UFC," he said. "When people ask me if I think he should fight, it's just my own personal opinion. I don't get calls from (UFC matchmaker) Joe Silva.

"I think if that fight happens, it could happen in the near future or it could happen later on. I have no idea. I'd just be guessing. I asked him if he wanted to fight Silva. He told me yes. There's a lot to be negotiated, so I don't know much more than that."

In a round about way Hendricks is correct. And by talking ish he's upping his profile. And that is part of the game.
