| Very tough choice IMO. I think it's one of the perfect times for co-winners. | |

So you are saying Peyton has the advantage because his off the field circumstances are worse then Petersons? I don't think that should be a factor. They are both eligible for the comeback award, so IMO it's whoever does better on the field. Still games to be played, but right now I have them even.

| I think Peterson doesn't get the love he deserves. I think it's atleast partially because you guys refuse to show love to my guy. | |

| I'm not surprised that Peterson is playing like he is, it was just that he got back on the field earlier than expected. Peyton had like 4 neck surgeries and there were legitimate questions about whether or not he could still have velocity on his throws and be good and now he's like consensus top 3 QB again | |

I was pretty confident in both coming back and playing well, but yeah I agree that Peyton was a bigger question mark with his age, the position he plays and the type of injury he had. I see where you guys are coming from with Peyton over coming more, but IMO since they both qualify for the award it comes down to play and both are playing great right now.

I think bobbitt worded it the way that I was intending to mean. On the field you can argue either way, but peyton has had to overcome more imo and that INCLUDES him going to a new team, new city, new offense, new receivers

| i voted for manning because there were legitimate doubts he'd ever play again after all those surgeries and i think he should get this award and not the league MVP award.
what i think will actually happen is manning gets the MVP and peterson will get the comeback player of the year.

| If we're arguing circumstances here Peterson probably gets the edge due to the fact that he's definitely going to get hit on 90% or more of his carries, whereas Peyton will probably only be hit loser to 30% of the time he touches the ball, maybe even less. So while both injuries could have been career ending or career changing the chances were slimmer that Peterson would be back in form for up to two years let alone playing like his old self just eight or nine months after going down with two torn ligaments in his knee. | |

| it HAS to be AP! look, im a huge Manning fan and couldn't be happier with what he's accomplished post injury even if it's not with the Colts but what AP is doing after only 8 months is beyond incredible! NOONE recovers from a blown out knee that quick! no way no how | |
