Its like alright everyone gets a 5% raise this year instead of a 3% raise but 1% needs to be donated to Obama for reelection. Hooray big gov. Pure speculation I presume. Well government jobs is one of the few sectors growing the past 4 years as far as jobs. Government employees did donate a nice chunk to Obama for reelection. Private sector has added jobs. State and local govt's have shrunk considerably which has slowed the recovery. Federal Government jobs have risen but not significantly, and most of those are in defense. From an article from June.
Private-sector jobs are still down by 4.6 million, or 4%, from January 2008.
Federal employment actually is 225,000 jobs above its January 2008 level, an 11.4% increase.
pretty sure it's about a 5% increase. http://www.opm.gov/feddata/historicaltables/totalgovernmentsince1962.asp
Over 4 years, is that a lot?
Jan 08 economy was still in free fall mode. Losing jobs monthy by the hundreds of thousands. Dishonest to compare then to now. Not as dishonest as comparing gas prices at that time to now, but dishonest nonetheless.
But since Jan 2010, private sector has been on a solid uptick. http://data.bls.gov/timeseries/CES0500000001
Not dishonest at all. That is when Obama took over. The private sector has shrunk while the public sector grew. Facts.

What does exit polls have to do with anything? Exit polls showed, a good % of people do not blame Obama for the mess he inherited. Nor did they expect him to turn around a complete clusterfuck in the first 6 months. But they do see very good signs of economic growth in recent years. Including solid private sector growth.

So then you agree with what I saw saying even thought you don't want me to use a liberal website to prove it??? i was joking around 125,000 jobs have been created, in total, during Obama's first term, compared with a prior estimate of a loss of 261,000. according to huffington post http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/09/27/data-job-growth-obama_n_1919533.html
